One of my favorite properties in downtown Fort Worth, mainly because of the free parking and the location. Couldn't resist such a great price. I was already planning a trip to the Metroplex and this opportunity just sealed the deal.

I have been watching downtown hotels on Better Bidding for while because a friend and I are going to see "Hamilton". Today what I knew had to be the Van Zandt popped up as a deal for $185. It had the same stars (4), rating (9+) and amenities as the KHVZ so I clicked on it and- yep!- it is the Van Zandt. Excited to see it and stay there after reading about it since the opening.

Ever since booking my spring training game tickets, I have been watching the Surprise/Peoria/Glendale area hotels. I played around with some Name Your Price options but mainly looked at Priceline Express. Today I saw this Holiday Inn Goodyear area for $183 non-refundable/$193 refundable and booked the refundable rate. When I checked back on the Priceline Express Deals, I recognized the amenities as this same property but for $167. I selected it (hotel name hidden) and it popped up as Holiday Inn Hotels and Suites-GoodYear West Phoenix. I cancelled the higher rate and look forward to seeing how this gamble pays off as far as 3* property and drive to Surprise for the ballgame goes.

I live in Georgetown but need a place to stay for a couple of nights. I knew the Sheraton was our only 4* option and have stayed there before. I used the Better Bidding Priceline Express Coupon and selected the Express Deal. The coupon was worth $8 off.

Oops, yep- I always forget to tell you that I have used the Better Bidding PRICELINE link.
The Fairmont has become my go to Priceline Express hotel. I can recognize the star rating, amenities and "you have booked here before" comment. As always, I love the location as well as the property. Although I continue to monitor options when looking to book in Dallas Downtown, it is hard to beat $78 for a great 4* hotel.

I have been watching the PRICELINE EXPRESS boards as I planned a trip to Dallas for the State Fair. I wanted to stay downtown because a friend is coming with me who hasn't spent any time in Dallas. Of course, I am kicking myself for not jumping on the Hyatt Regency when it was showing for $145 last month. Ah, well- I really love the Fairmont and was sure to get it since it showed "you have booked here before" and the amenities matched. It will be a fun trip and well worth the extra to stay downtown and take the DART light rail to Fair Park. Yes, I used the link on Better Bidding.
Here's the amenities that showed (do not scold me if I didn't do it correctly AGAIN}:

I stayed at the Fairmont last year (also with PRICELINE) and, despite the expensive valet parking, I love the location and really liked my room. So I jumped on $88 (could have gotten it for $87 with Express but wanted to be sure). This time I plan to use the pool :-)

I have been watching hotel offerings/prices in the area for a couple of months but paid closer attention this last week as my trip got closer. I decided this morning just to pick one- decent rate ($129), 4*- ended up with the Renaissance. I had been tempted to pay a little more and get a known property but I am not unhappy with this choice. Will post a review when I get back. Here are the amenities that were posted:

My second time staying at this Embassy Suites was even better than my first stay (in August). I arrived in FOrt Worth around 1130 and stopped in to ask how early a check in I might be able to get- maybe 200PM? The front desk clerk said well, your room is actually ready now. I was delighted. Plus they put me on the 12th floor away from elevators (I always call ahead and ask for them to comment high floor/away from elevators). It was SO quiet, I am not sure anyone else was staying on that floor! I was pleased with the comfort of the room as well as the prompt valet service when I called down for my car before check out.
I always mean to mention that, yes, I use the PRICELINE link here on Better Bidding.
Since I stay in Fort Worth several times a year, I recognize the hotels offered on PRICELINE EXPRESS. They will also indicate if I have stayed there before. When I chose this Express Deal, I was fairly certain, based on 3.5* and 9+ satisfaction, that it was the Embassy Suites and it was. Can't beat the price or the location. Sundance Square is a great place to be during the holiday season- lots of lights, tree, Santa. I am looking forward to another visit.

FYI- my original choice was a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for 4*, 8+ rating and pet friendly, business center but no free breakfast or swimming pool. That is almost certainly the Hilton but the deal was gone when I selected it. Another favorite property- maybe next time!
On any of the hotel sites for Georgetown, the Sheraton is the only 3* plus only one with restaurant so I was confident when I selected this PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal. I live in GT but a friend and I have wanted to check out the newest hotel in town. We plan to enjoy a girl's weekend. Here's the listed amenities-

I was just a little concerned with mixed reviews for the Omni Mandalay but, as usual, there turned out to be no reason to worry. From the free parking to the polite and friendly staff to the beautiful comfortable room, my stay was great. I understand the comments about the hotel needing some renovation- it kind of reminds me of the Adolphus before that renov. However, my room was large with a beautiful view- I could see the renowned Mustangs of Las Colinas- and 2 full size, comfortable beds with a variety of pillows. The bathroom, despite an older tub/shower and sink set up, was more than adequate with nice amenities and plenty of hot water and good water pressure. I was on the 18th floor, away from elevators and it was very quiet- I didn't have any problems with noise. I thought about taking the hotel shuttle over to the DART light rail station on Sunday morning (when I was heading over to meet friends in Dallas) but it was a short easy walk, despite construction along O'Connor and Lake Carolyn Boulevard. Service at the M Bar was friendly and prompt and the limited food offerings were more than enough since I didn't want a full meal in the main restaurant, Trevi's. I didn't make it to the pool area but it looked very inviting. Overall, this is an Omni property that I would recommend and would revisit.
I decided to use the PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal link at the top of the Better Bidding page- 5% off- since I knew the Express Deal almost had to be the Omni Mandalay. Turned out to be the case. I have always wanted to stay there. I plan to use their shuttle to take me to the DART light rail station so I can take the train over and visit a friend in Dallas on Sunday. I look forward to filing a review on my stay. Hope these amenities are correct this time- don't want to get scolded!

Don't know what to tell you. I copied the list off of the screen that appeared on Priceline Express right before I purchased under Express Deals. If I made a mistake or misrepresented the amenities, I apologize profusely.
The Embassy Suites Fort Worth Downtown met all my expectations. As I knew, the location was perfect. The valet service was helpful, friendly and prompt- probably my best valet experience in downtown. The front desk staff member was happy to check me in early since there was a room available. I didn't make it to the pool but the manager's happy hour wa one of the most extensive food-wise and bar-wise that I have seen. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Not much of a view- only one small bedroom window overlooking a courtyard- but that is not a big issue for me. I would certainly stay there again.
FYI- these are actually the amenities shown before purchase. :-)
The Holiday Inn Amarillo West turned out to be a great place to stay. I am always a little leary of Holiday Inns as opposed to Holiday Inn Express (HIE tend to be newer properties). This one is recently renovated and in great shape. There is a full service bar and restaurant on site with a good happy hour. Next door is a large movie theater. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Hotel staff was quite friendly and helpful. I liked the location (a little tricky finding the entrance) and would stay again if ever in Amarillo.
The Wingate turned out to be a fairly new property and I was very pleased with my stay. There is a small shopping strip within walking distance of the hotel so it was easy to get dinner plus an Alamo Drafthouse movie theater. The room was large and clean (my 2nd ADA room this trip). I checked out the indoor pool and whirlpool- looked nice. I would recommend this property and would stay if I visit Lubbock again.
I was looking for a one night stay in Amarillo and I liked the looks of this hotel, for the price, with good reviews. I dd bid through the Better Bidding site. I usually have good luck with Holiday Inns/HIE. I will post a review when I get back. Here are the amenities that were listed :

Looked for a one night stay 3/4*. Saw the 3* Express Deal for $60 listed as "Very Good, 8+" and I thought it was the Hawthorne Suites. When I clicked on the deal, it turned out to be the Wingate which is listed as "excellent, 8.5". I dd bid through the Better Bidding PRICELINE link. Looks good, reviews are fine. I will report back with a review. Here are the amenities that were listed:

I saw that an Exceptional 3.5* was listed on Express Deals so I looked at the all hotels view and knew it had to be the Embassy Suites. All the years I lived there and now visit there, I have not stayed at this property and am excited to get it. And what a great deal! I am meeting a friend to see a musical at the Jubilee Theater so the location is perfect. Here are the amenities that were offered prior to my bid. The free breakfast was also a good indicator that is was the Embassy.

The Magnolia turned out to be one of the nicest bargains I have had when using Hotwire or Priceline. I was upgraded to a suite and could not have been happier with the property or the location.
Just noticed that the Express Deal is now showing $86- I thought about waiting until this week to buy and, of course, now I wish I had. Ah, well- hind sight is 20/20 :-)

I haven't been back to Main Street Arts Festival for quite a few years and just checked to see what was available for the weekend. Lo and behold, one of my favorites TownePlace Suites popped up for $73 a night- how could I resist? Free parking, great location. Yes, I used your site for Better Bidding.
