I am getting a hotel with these amenities for May 9 - 11, 2013 (4 rooms x 2 per room) for an excellent price of $104/night. Any ideas of which hotel? Bid 3.5* for 80 & denied, added 3* and $85 since I just needed it "done" and won :)

3.5* great location... have stayed many times before and definitely does the job for pre/post cruise stays :)

$70 seems to be the new magic # for this Sheraton!

1st bid was for $70 and denied but they came back with the instant "if you bid $88 we'll think about it again..." Just to make life easy and save trying to do the juggle of adding other areas etc I did and they took it :)

Not exactly where I wanted... I stayed here last year post-cruise and if you get a 'double double' room there'll still be room for 2 more to sleep! Location is great - hop skip & jump to the mall & Target. Head over there to get your 'groceries & such'. Glad to see the price you got for those days on HOTWIRE - going to try PRICELINE for the same weekend pre-cruise (I got it for $45/night last December)

The Mariott was a great place for the $ - definitely not worth the $279.99 "back of the door" rate though. Was a bit leary getting the room directly across from the ice machine but didn't hear a thing. The balcony was a great addition for sitting out in the evenings after our 14 hr shopping days!!

Was trying for Sheraton Suites Plantation but ended up with Courtyard by Marriott with my 1st bid of $45 for April 17-19, 2010. Probably could have got this lower but had seen others getting Sheraton for around that price - needed a cheap place to rest our weary heads from 2 days of pre-cruise shopping insanity @ Sawgrass Mills :) Tried to use the PRICELINE link via betterbidding but the page wouldn't load :)

I stayed there in December 2009 and I have no idea how they're saying the "near beach" doesn't apply - it is literally out the door down the stairs and you're on the beach! But due to construction - walk out the front door hang a left and walk up to where the 7-11 and the intersection is then go left - takes you right to the beach about 1/4 mile up the road. 1st time using PRICELINE - usually go with HOTWIRE 1 Bid - $45 for a 3* in Plantation, FL for 3 night stay Dec 12 - 15, 2009 Bid accepted and upgraded to 3.5* Sheraton Suites Plantation 311 North Universiy Dr Plantation, FL 33324 954-424-3300 Not too bad of a deal for my first try!

12/3 to 12/5 - just booked The Westin Diplomat Resort And Spa for $110/night 1 room 3 adults for a pre-cruise (Oasis of the Seas Inaugural Cruise) stay :) Not the best price but pretty good since Westin.com rate is $300 + & there's going to be an influx of 10,000 passengers for this voyage lol Resort, Near Beach, smoke free, fitness center, pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High Speed Internet, Golf
