:) What a disapointment also got Royal Plaza. Started wth LBV zone and Resort rate with $55, declined. Next day try it with $60 and add 3.5*, they counter offer to $70 and accepted. I was really frustrated. With so many hotel in the are ending with #176 out 350 hotels in orlando (according tripadvisor). Adding taxes and parkin and resort fee will add up to $106 per nigth (without internert). Originally I was willing to paid $84 for the Buena Vista Palace and Spa. Well that is the price you have to paid for being cheap and gambling ....somes win and somes loose....i loose this time... at least i added travel insurance...in case the hotel make me sick....or the service gave me a heart attack... Do you know form someone that buy paid reservations...probably if i find someone willing to paid from 60 to 70% of the price i could sell it and book in another hotel. I know...i know... at the it was my decision. Regards,

Get my room for $37 in the Radisson. First Bid accepted. Amaizing...thinking that my company paid around $150/nigth for the double tree (that supposed to be 2.5* versus Radisson with 3*) last week. A million thanks to betterbidding and priceline for all your help during the past three weeks, first NY (time square best western $95/night on 7/24-7/26) , then Toronto (four point mississagua $55/nigth 8/1, then Delta Chelsea ($67/n from 8/2 to 8/5) and now back to rochester. Thereuare ..you rock.

Because i'm running out of time and prices in the Niagara Falls (ON) area went thru the roof (out of my budget).... I decided to change the schedule and visiting on it 8/5 on my way back to rochester. So decided to extend my nigth in Toronto. Now from 8/1 to 8/5 (previouslu 8/2 to 8/5) because the change of date and follow your advice about Chelsea availabele for $65 i tried the following strategy - 3* Downtown + Don Valley $65 - 3* Downtown + Don Valley + Markham $70 - 2.5* Downtown Don Valley + Markham $70 - 3.5* Downtown+don Valley + North York East $70 - 3.5* Downtown+don Valley + North York + Markham $80 (already over my budget) - 3.5* Downtown+don Valley + North York East + Marham+ Toronto east ($82) At 10pm of tonigth finish the 24hrs time frame for re-bid yesteerday searh (8/2 to 8/5). Any advise on the new startegy? I'm running out of option. Something is happening in the area because the Car rental in Rochester Airport also increase their pricess dramaticaaly. I get it through you (priceline counter offer @ $47/day but3 days ago it would have cost me $37 without bidding $36). There is probably a big event in the area. I need advise. Want to stay at Toronto downtown... (downtown highly preferred) I decided to avoid the 4* hotels to skip the parking and hig services prices (internet at 10.95/day). So i started my bid on $45 for a 3.5* based that a 4* was won by another persons between $50 and $55. 1st bid $45, 2nd bid $45 for a 3*, 3rd Bid was $40 for a 2.5* ....didn't want to go lower. oother trial was bidding $50 for a 2.5*, and the last one was $45 for a 2*. Didnt expand to other areas because those area has also 2* and 3* and i want the downtown. Now i have to wait for tomorow nigth to rebid or exoand the area to don valley or markham. I have a hotel manager hotel that offered me the Markham holiday suites for $70 but i would like to pay no more than $60 (unles the hotel is in the downtown) Please advise.

I was using Niagara fall, On... the area im refering suppose to be at the north of the falls. I'm desperately looking for 8/1 to 8/2. i tried all areas 4* and 3.5* (except the north one because it was blocked) from $66 and expanding the areas going down to $65. I also try the 3* for $70. Now i have to wait for tomorrow (24hrs or go below 2.5*) Any advise?

Does any body know why when i try to bid for the niagara falls, the North zone appears blocked (does not allow to check the box) it is that they do not have rooms or hotel available in that area? Thanks

Hello, I'm planning to rent a car in Rochester, NY and drive to Niagara, cross the border and spend a couples of days in Toronto then return to Rochester. Augist 1 to 5 Do you have any idea if the companies that Priceline or Hotel.com uses in this bidding process allow their cars to cross the canadian border? What would happen if i bid for a car and then they does not allow it? Can they refund? Thanks

I first want to thank you for inspiring me confidence in this bidding process. My budget was tigth so looking for a room for less than $100 was my first objective, and then fidn it near the time square /Theater areas was the 2nd. I was terrified with the idea of bidding in a non-refundable process and reciving one of those matchbox rooms with a "shared-bathroom". Thanks to this site and the people that share thier experience, i got confidence and tips to do my first bidding. I just got, Best Western Presidents hotel (2.5*) for $95/nigth from 7/24 to 7/26. I started with $85 for a 3* in the Theather district (rejected), then $90 for a 2.5* inthe same area (rejected), and finally $95 for a 2.5* and and the MTW area... For be my first bidding, i think i did good, considering that i plan to use the hotel for a couples sleeping hours :). Once again...thanks BB.
