  1. Pet Friendly, Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Business Center, Internet Access wasn't expecting the Alt because it isn't on the current win list, but very happy. Have stayed at the Alt previously, and although it is very "stark" in decor, it is super comfortable and the most convenient location given the proximity to the airport tram.

  4. Toronto Airport Hotel Indigo is now listed on Expedia as BWP Toronto Airport Hotel ( I guess that means Best Western Plus?) doesn't look like anything has changed other than the name, no interior renovations from the online pics.
  5. used Betterbidding link for Toronto Airport East area 3.5 stars for $63 CAD Friday July 19th. hotel amenities listed free internet, pool/indoor pool, airport shuttle, smoke free rooms, restaurant, business center, self serve laundry, internet access. 85% positive approval rate. was confused by the 3.5 star rating, as Hilton Garden Inn previously noted as only a 3 star property, and is listed on Expedia as a 3 star. obviously Hotwire has upgraded the rating of this hotel recently. have stayed at this hotel before, it is located very near the airport, is newly built, and has lots of parking. there is a $15 parking fee, but that is standard for hotels in this airport area. Great deal, as Expedia price listed as $109 plus tax, plus parking. Even with the Hotwire user fee included, betterbidding win only $95 taxes and parking all in! :D
  6. used BetterBidding Hot.wire link, Hot.wire for stay at Toronto Airport East area 3 star, 80% recommended. regular price listed as $97. Hotwire Hot price listed as $57. amenities highlighted: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Indoor pool(s), Airport shuttle, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access. Hotel revealed as Hotel Indigo. have stayed at this property previously, and happy with this win. great spot for plane lovers, can view jets on flight paths if in a north side room. only $10 parking, which is reasonable for the airport area.
  7. booked through Forum link hotel had 100% recommendation free parking, free internet, pool, restaurant. have stayed at this hotel several times, very clean, modern. happy with this win!
  8. used Better Bidding PRICELINE link. wanted 4 star hotel only. started bidding at $90, for Downtown South. rejected. then added Downtown North zone at $100. rejected. then added free bidding zone of Toronto West (no 4* in the area) at $105. accepted :D Have stayed at this beautiful hotel before. It is the lower 6 floors of an executive high rise building. Very nice, upscale, awesome area. the Marriott website quote is $245 a night! very happy with this incredible win!
  9. used the Better Bidding PRICELINE link started with 4* in YYZ east at $50.00 used free bidding zones to expand area, stayed with 4*. added YYZ west for $64 added Brampton for $71. won the 4* property. have stayed here several times. there is additional parking fee and internet fee, but not unusual in upscale airport properties. it is an older hotel, but still worth the Priceline deal. very happy with the win! hotel website and hotels.com list price at $199.00 :o
  10. used Better Bidding link for HOTWIRE amenities listed: Free Internet Airport Shuttle Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access 90% positive reviews chose this property due to proximity to Metro, shuttle and free internet. some reviews indicate property needs some upgrades others rave about the place. still happy given the rate of $69, but Sheraton website has rooms starting at $85 so only saved $30 for the two nights. that will pay for breakfast though! :P
  11. used Betterbidding PRICELINE link. started with $80 for downtown Ottawa zone, 4 star. raised by $5 increments with free bidding zones (only downtown has 4star hotels!). win for $90 per night. same hotel on Hotwire is $112 for the same nights, and on Expedia $119, so great price for this hotel. we have stayed at this hotel 3 other times and have always been satisfied with the quality of the hotel and a great location. the rotating restaurant on the roof is a huge bonus for sightseeing! thank you Priceline and Betterbidding!
  12. used Betterbidding HOTWIRE link. For April 5-7, 2012. Amenities listed shuttle, pool, internet, smoke free, restaurant, golf nearby, tennis nearby, fitness, laundry. 90% positive rating. happy with this booking, as the posted rate on Expedia and holiday inn website is $120/night. great savings!!!
  13. used forum link for Priceline selected 4* hotel category first bid of $53 rejected for Airport East rebid $57 adding Airport West accepted Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel and Conference Center please note: this is NOT the Sheraton GATEWAY Hotel which is located inside the airport. We have stayed at this hotel several times and have been satisfied. They do charge extra for parking and internet, but it is still a good property for the price. Large pool!
  14. used PRICELINE link on Forum initial bid of $65 for 3.5 star hotel in Buffalo-Amherst area refused, but a counter offer of $81 given by Priceline I decided to rebid rather than accept the counter offer. added re-bid zone Niagara Falls East, and raised bid to $70. accepted. Expedia price for this hotel on the same dates is $154, so essentially half price! happy with this result, we have stayed at this Marriott many times, and always enjoyed our trip. :)
  15. used HOTWIRE link July 9th, 2011 for one night. amenities listed shuttle, fitness, restaurant, business, internet, golf, tennis. Have stayed here three times before, a decent hotel for just $66. and much less for parking than at the Gateway Sheraton!. :)
  16. used PRICELINE link first bid of $70 for zone 1 rejected, offered room if willing to increase by $20. decided to re-bid using additional zone 2, increased to $76 and accepted. have never stayed at this hotel before, so will be interesting. parking is additional, but likely will utilize free casino parking and shuttles to avoid the extra charge! good deal, as the regular rate on Expedia is $129! Thank you Forum. :)
  17. used PRICELINE forum link was hoping for this hotel, as my husband loves watching the planes. first bid of $58 for the Toronto Airport east was accepted. have stayed at this hotel many times, and other than the parking cost ($28/night! ouch!) have always found this hotel to be wonderful :)
  18. Used PRICELINE link first bid of $57 refused, website offered a room if willing to pay additional $15, for price of $72. decided to rebid, added zone Buffalo Airport, increased bid to $59, accepted for Buffalo Marriot. Have stayed at this motel numerous time through priceline, nice hotel. Wasn't willing to pay over $60 anyway because the Hotel Indigo right next door to Marriot available on HOTWIRE for $60! Happy with this win, for a weekend shopping at the Galleria! thanks :)
  19. used forum PRICELINE link started at $60, and used rebid zones Grand Island and Niagara Falls East have stayed at this Marriot twice before, and was satisfied...it is a regular Marriot non smoking, pool, free parking, free internet only in the lobby though. on Expedia, the non-refundable price is $114, and on HOTWIRE $89 (guessing by star level and amenities)
  20. booked using forum HOTWIRE link. second time booking this hotel. has 90% Hotwire positive rating rates a 2.5 star on Expedia site amenities include complimentary breakfast, internet, business center, laundry. hotel has free breakfast, free internet, free parking. great price! :) located on Norfinch Drive, North York
  21. yes, my mistake, date should be June 5th, not May 5th.
  22. booked through forum website HOTWIRE link amenities listed - complimentary breakfast, high speed internet. has 65% positive rating on hotwire, but better reviews on Expedia. I will post my opinion on this site after stay.
  23. Hotel rated on Expedia as 2.5 star. Good reviews. Amenities listed: complimentary breakfast, business center, laundry, internet.
  24. used PRICELINE link on forum page Holiday Inn toronto airport east 3* accepted bid of $41 (in Toronto Airport East area) for March 12/10. Not my favourite airport hotel...depends what room you get...some are extremely old and needing refurb. also charge $11.00 for parking, but internet is free...for $50 tax in still not a bad deal!
  25. Sorry, my mistake, NOT the sheraton gateway...it is actually the Sheraton Toronto Airport which is about 2km east down dixon road..not sure how to edit this entry so that it will be corrected
