Just got back from my trip. This hotel is wonderful. Very nice and spacious room. When we checked in, the front desk receptionist even asked me what type of room( King / Double ) we wanted, priceline was never mentioned. Even though my room is on the first floor, it has nice view of a garden, with a little bit view of the pool and the beach at the end of it. Right across from the hotel is the King's Shop. It's a small shopping mall with a few restaurants and a grocery store. So dining is not a problem for those who would like to eat around the hotel. That's what we did on the first night we arrived there. The drive to Kona is only 20 mins. Kona has nice beaches, restaurants and stores. I didn't spend that much time in the hotel, but seems like there are a lot to do. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I go to Big Island.
