  1. Just booked it (using the HOTWIRE link that you provided) - got the Le Meridian San Francisco.
  2. I found a four-star property in Financial District/Embarcadero for one night (March 28) for $123/nt. It has 95% recommended and amenities are: Pet friendly, Business, Restaurant, Fitness and Internet Access. What could it be? Thanks.
  3. I'm looking for a 5-star hotel very close to Central Park. I'm seeing a 5-star in the Upper East Side for $355 night with 100% recommendation for 5/15-5/17 with these amenities: pet friendly, business, internet, visual impair, path of travel, roll shower, restaurants, self laundry, spa, hearing impair, in room accessible, access bathroom Thanks
  4. I still haven't booked this stay ...but now I see a 5 star in the Upper East Side for $355/nt. I'm going to start a new thread to see what it might be.
  5. That's strange. I'm still seeing two results for Midtown Central. One is 100% recommended and has a pool for $371/nt. The other is $364/nt. and does not have a pool and is 85% recommended. I'm looking for a five-star close to Central Park and a pool would be a nice addition...I was just hoping to know what property it is since I'm assuming that the $364/nt. property is the one you suggested already (Westhouse NY).
  6. When I search for Five-Star hotels on Hotwire for these dates (5-15 to 5-17), I get two in Mid-Town Central. One is $375 per night (100%recommended) and the other is $369 per night (85% recommended). The $375 property lists: Pool(s), Pet Friendly, Business Center, Restaurant, Self Service Laundry, Indoor Pool, Free Internet, and Spa Services. It also says at the top that the last person who booked got "The Quin".
  7. I clicked through on the Hotwire Website and right before checkout there is an option to see more amenities: free internet, indoor pools, restaurants, self service laundry, spa services, accessible for hearing, in room accessibility, accessible parking, pet friendly, pools, business center, internet access, accessible for visually, accessible path of travel, accessible bathroom, roll-in shower
  8. $375/nt (5/15-5/17) 100% recommended (regular $795/nt - are they serious?) Free internet, pet friendly, indoor pool, pool, restaurant, business center, self-service laundry, spa services Any guesses? Thanks in advance.
  9. Thanks for the reply. I didn't realize that Hotwire had a new system to show their amenities. Regardless, I ended up booking direct through Hilton and used points for the Bonaventure. Thanks anyway.
  10. Updated the post. Thanks for reminding me....it had been a while!
  11. I ended up booking directly through the hotel and using comp points that I had earned to receive a good deal. Thanks for the help though.
  12. Amenities include: free internet, pet friendly, indoor pool(s), fitness center, restaurant, smoke free, business center 95% recommended Downtown Montreal - Financial District Showing $183 I didn't see any five stars on the list that included a pool. Any guesses?
  13. Hey guys, I checked out the aforementioned listing on HOTWIRE tonight (I'm hoping that the price goes down a bit before I book), and I noticed a 3.5 Star property also listed under Ft. Lauderdale Beach. The amenities are: Resort, Beachfront, Pool, Restaurant, High Speed Internet. The price is showing $171 per night...clearly more than what we expect to be the Westin...but, if its a better property, maybe it would be worth it. Thanks.
  14. I thought that it might be the Westin. In fact, if it is, then I'd definitely take it. However, I checked your Hotwire Hotel List and noticed a discrepency. The Westin Beach Resort offers "Beach Access", while the current listing on Hotwire says "Near Beach". Any thoughts? Thank you
  15. Yes. It's still there for $119 per night with these amenities: Resort, Near Beach, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Laundry Facilties, High Speed Internet, Tennis Nearby, Children's Activity. Thanks.
  16. I just updated my New York thread. I will use this forum for searches now too. I thought it only helped for purchases. Thanks.
  17. I ended up booking through PRICELINE. Here are the results: I wanted Central Park South and bid $150 per night for a two night stay: 9/5 to 9/7/09 But that was rejected so I ended up getting Le Parker Meridien for $198 per night. I hope that helps!
  18. Trying to ID this Four Star property from 7/6 to 7/13 in the Fort Lauderdale Beach Area. It has the following amenities: Resort, Near Beach, Smoke-Free, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, Laundry, High-Speed Internet, Tennis Nearby, Children's Activity Program. I may have an old post to update...if so, please let me know where I can do that. Thanks! jrs144pitt
  19. Wow. You're right. I had never used that website before but it is pretty helpful. I only saw about 10 or so places on the map that would be close enough to where the race starts/ends. And a lot of them are probably out of my price range ($250 max/per night). Out of all of these, do you suggest any that might be in my price range: The Carlyle The Mark Hotel Plaza Athenee The Lowell Affinia Gardens Loews Regency Helmsley Carlton Pierre New York Plaza Hotel Jumeirah Essex Bridgestreet 316 E. 63rd. Thank you, as always.
  20. Hello again, Well, the location is pretty important. I'd like to find a place in the Upper East Side as close to Central Park as possible (near 74th Street). My max price that I'm willing to spend per night is $225 before taxes/fees. thanks.
  21. Sorry that it took a while for me to get back on here. I've been traveling for the last few weeks. Anyways, I'm ready to book my NYC trip (9/5 to 9/7) and I saw this 4 star in the Central Park area pop up tonight: Amenenties are: Fitness, Restaurant, Business, Spa. And the price is $179 per night. What might this hotel be?
  22. I checked out the reviews and the Omni's website. Looks like a good deal. Where are you finding that rate?
  23. I checked out the reviews and the Benjamin sounds good. It looks like it's pretty close to Central Park, but not too far from Times Square & the theater district. Where can I find the $155/nt rate that you mentioned?
  24. Yeah, I checked out all of those places, their websites, regular rates, and some reviews and none of them really sold me. I guess I'm kind of stuck at the moment. Fortunately, I have a few more days to figure it out. 6 Columbus Circle doesn't sound bad though. I saw a 4 star in Central Park Area listed this morning at $119 per night with these amenities: Boutique, Fitness, Business, Internet. Do you think it is the Empire? If so, I'd likely take that one.
  25. I'm seeing a 4* in the CPA with these amenities: Boutique, Fitness, Business, Internet. It's listed at $119 per night for 9/5 - 9/7. Think that this might be the Empire again? Or something else?
