  1. Last minute trip and settled on Vancouver, was eying the four seasons at $136 a night (which is a little dated) when I struck pay dirt. I was wanting to stay here, best price outside of this was Hotels.com and would have been over $200 more total. I was wanting to spend $500-600 but when I was 95% sure this was Loden I pulled the trigger, what's another $200? in the grand scheme of things. Its more about the hunt! I have not scene this elusive property listed here yet so this is for ya'll. It was a 10 out of 10 review with 2001+ tripadvisor Amenities: Free Internet Pet friendly Boutique hotel Near beach Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Restaurant(s) Business center Self-service laundry Internet access Spa services Accessibility: Accessible for visually impaired Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Accessible parking Roll-in shower $648.00 ($162.00 per night x 4 nights x 1 room) was listed $354/night at 50%off Taxes & fees $179.97 (a little more "fees" than I normally want to spend) Trip total (USD) $827.97 You are welcome!
  2. 80% HOTWIRE Review Resort fee due at hotel $28.00 Amenities: Resort Free parking Free Internet Pet friendly Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Self-service laundry Internet access Golf nearby Tennis nearby Spa services Children's activities This would have been over $360 if I went directly though hotel.
  3. This is the third time trying to post, can't insert link The Amenities are the same you have listed in your hotel list. Thank you
  4. My bad.... was late last night. There should have been 2 separate posts, the Austria Haus Hotel is in VAIL and is the room I got. The DoubleTree Breckenridge is the one I was speculating on, and 99% sure it is that. if you can separate them. Also may want add the Double Tree to the Hotel Lists. I have been studying ASPEN, SNOWMASS, Vail and Breck so long now I could probably tell you ALL of them with 99% certainty. Its easy to do when its not a city like New York!!
  5. Hey FYI Keep checking your dates, sometimes twice a day. this area (VAIL/BRECK) is very screwy. a lot of "now you see it, now you don't" I just checked HOTWIRE and here is what I got for your dates 4* West Vail - Minturn area It says "Book soon! The last person got the Vail Cascade Resort" And I believe that is correct. 4 nights 3/9/14 to 3/13/14 Standard price $506ǂ HOTRATE $233 per night $27.00 per room per night resort fee. West Vail - Minturn area 90% recommended 4.5 out of 5.0 Trip Advisor Free Internet Resort Pet friendly Slopeside Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Self service laundry Internet access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower I would be cool with a 90% Recommended 4.5/5.0 Hotel
  6. I am 99% sure this is the DoubleTree, I have booked my next couple ski trips but have been checking regularly to figure out what is in Breck as the HOTEL LIST is not showing a lot. Hope this helps someone: Tonight it has a HOTRATE of $150 (was $509) Pet friendly Indoor pool(s) Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Internet access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services Accessible for the blind Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower Trip advisor 3.5/5.0 75% Recommended by HOTWIRE
  7. Was already renting a CONDO (a little drive from lifts) in this area however wanted something I could use between ski runs. This works!!! Not sure if I will stay the night here but will be using it during the day, perhaps to get a break from the kids or if a friend shows up and needs a place. Could not pass on that price. Free Breakfast Free Internet Slopeside Fitness Center Pool(s) Internet access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby --> 3.5* Austria Haus Hotel And as always use the HOTWIRE link!!
  8. Yes, it is confirmed!! and price went down to $541/NT so saved six bucks more And of course we used the HOTWIRE linky doo. Although it is EXTREMLY more then we would have like to spend I have been checking every Friday for last minute deals in Breckinridge with no avail. I think the other better option if one was inclined to wait longer is PRICELINE. I believe the Marriot can be had on the cheap with the right approach. Although HOTWIRE says it is a 3* this is more a 3.5* only thing keeping it from 4* is lack of restaurant and bar. The TAX and fees a bit excessive at $259.76 bringing 2 day total to $1,341.76. Going to use AVIS points and score free car to offset some of that cost. Thanks for the help, hope this helps you out also. The frugal dude.
  9. Wanted to get 2 rooms, either Condo or 2 separate Hotel rooms for a buddy and I in breck. $250 PP/NT ish Could this be a 2 bedroom BlueSky Breckenridge Condo Dates: 2/21/14 to 2/23/14 $725/nt with a HOTRATE $569 8 left as of today 5.0 out of 5.0 tripadvisor ◾Free Parking ◾Free Internet ◾Slopeside ◾Fitness Center ◾Pool(s) ◾Business Center ◾Self service laundry ◾Spa Services ◾Accessible for the blind ◾Accessible path of travel ◾Wheelchair accessible ◾Handicapped parking also says Book soon! The last person got the The Village at Breckenridge but that can't be as The Village is only 3.5/5 on tripadvisor when I go over to the STANDARD RATE HOTELS tab on HOTWIRE I see the 3* BlueSky Breckenridge $725 per night 5.0 out of 5.0 tripadvisor Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms Essentially all the same amenities and then some..... When checking TRIPADVISOR the only 3* lodging with 5/5 reviews is the BlueSky Breckenridge (specialty lodging) now if you change date to 2/5/14 to 2/7/14 The Village at Breckenridge is probably the correct choice $248 with $100 night hot RATE And the BlueSky Breckenridge Condo is not available on the STANDARD RATE HOTELS tab Normally I would take the chance if it wasn't a $500/ night gamble And of course I will use the HOTWIRE link here!! HOTWIRE
  10. I have not seen this hotel yet on Better Bidding Standard Price was $212 hot Rate was $139 Amenities: Resort Free Parking Pet friendly Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Internet access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in Shower 90% Hotwire reviews (now it says still gatering) 4 out of 5.0 TripAdvisor 2 nights Hotwire hot Rate Room@ $139.00/night $278.00 Tax recovery charges & fees: $60.58 Trip Total: $338.58 Of course I used Hotwire to get it.
  11. Want to confirm Hotwire San Antonio (SeaWorld - Hill Country Area) for Sat, Jul 11 to Wed, Jul 15, 2009 @ $205.00 per night. (using Hotwire) Amenities: Resort, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Laundry Facilities, High-speed Internet Access, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Spa Services, Children's Activity Program 11.1 miles to San Antonio Intl. (SAT) Trip Advisor Traveler Rating of 4.0 out of 5 Based on 160+ customer reviews (Last reviewed June 2009) Here are my thoughts: I believe the only other 4* Resort in this area using Hotwire is the Hilton San Antonio Hill Country Hotel & Spa (May have changed to Radisson) which is considerably less per night based on direct booking thru each hotels website. My logic for this was using Priceline search of Resorts in San Antonio. The Hilton/Radisson has a Trip Advisor Traveler Rating of 3.0 out of 5 (121 reviews) which I think should disqualify it. The Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch, A Hyatt Vacation Club Resort is 4.0 out of 5 on trip advisor. (not sure if they use Hotwire) On Hyatt's website they say it is 11.2 Mi to the airport. The Regency Resort on Hyatt's website is claimed to be 11.5 Mi As far as amenities go, is GOLF NEARBY and TENNIS NEARBY the same as ON SITE?? If not then this would be the qualifier as Hyatt Regency has both golf and tennis. I am currently holding a reservation for The Hyatt Regency for those four nights @ the following rate/night of 309.00, 289.00, 289.00, 289.00 and using the special of 4th night free works out to $221/night so I'm not sure taking the chance is worth the $21/night savings, but I am a cheap dude :) . On the other hand if I were to only go 3 nights than there would be a good savings. Also there is a $15/night resort fee I did not mention but sure most people are aware of. I am open to all thoughts anyone may have on the subject.
