  1. I just booked the Sheraton through this site's HOTWIRE link - 4* Downtown West for $56.00 pernight. Dates are July 24, 25, 26. Amenities - Smoke Free Rooms, Restaurant, Spa, Fitness Center, Business Center, Pool, High Speed Internet - I do note the customer favorite was not listed on there. Thank you for your site - at least you have a good idea of what you are going to get.
  2. You were right - I just booked the room (using the link on this site) and it is the La Quinta South San Francisco. Thank you.
  3. I am looking for a room near the airport in San Francisco for one night September 4. I see a 2.5 star at $59 which lists Shuttle, breakfast, fitness, pool, laundry, HS internet and it is a best value. Any ideas what hotel this might be?
  4. The date of stay is one night - Saturday, February 23.
  5. I had a gut feeling I was not going to be happy, but I went ahead and went for the $99 a night anyway. It came back the Radisson in Downtown Lansing. Technically it is on the very edge of their location map, but I would not classify downtown Lansing as East Lansing-MSU/Okemos. Kind of defeated my purpose as I am going to MSU for a basketball game and wanted to stay somewhat the campus. Oh well, win some and lose some. The amenities are airport shuttle, fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center. Just thought you might want to add it to the list in case anyone else is looking at it thinking it could be something closer to MSU's campus.
  6. the Holiday Inn Express - Just booked and was hoping it was the HI Express. Dates are August 29 - September 1. $62.00 per night. Amenities - Complimentary breakfast, fitness center, business center and high speed internet. It was also a customer favorite and best value. Thanks
  7. I am still looking at Albuquerque airport. I now see a 3* (airport shuttle, fitness, pool, restaurant) for $53 for one night on Friday, September 15 - any idea what that might be?
  8. Thanks for your replies - it doesn't look like we will make it to Toronto this weekend.
  9. I added replies to each thread - we didn't go to Chicago, we have not made a reservation for New Mexico yet and we stayed at the Radio City Apartments in NYC instead of going with Hotwire.
  10. We decided to stay at the Radio City Apartments instead of giong with the Hotwire hotel.
  11. Thanks for your help. As of this date, we still have not made a hotel reservation for New Mexico.
  12. Thanks for your replies, but we decided not to go to Chicago
  13. I am looking at Toronto downtown hotels for dates of 6/30 - 7/3. Hotwire has a 4* (customer favorite, fitness, pool, restaurant, business center and spa for $86) which I believe is the Sheraton. There is also a 3.5* (fitness, restaurant, business center, laundry facilities and high speed internet) for $88 - any idea what hotel this might be? I really don't like the Sheraton - every time I have stayed there the fire alarm goes off either during the night or very early in the morning. This has happened to several friends also. Thanks for your help. Sue
  14. 4* Hotel in Midtown East, Customer Favorite, amenities are Restaurant, Fitness Center, Tennis Nearby and Business Center - $249 per night for June 8-12. Any idea what hotel this is? Thanks Sue
  15. I am looking for one night at the Alburquerque Airport on Friday September 15. 3* amenities are airport shuttle, restaurant, complimentary breakfast, pool and fitness center. The hotwire rate is $58 2.5* amenities are airport shuttle, complimentary breakfast, pool, fitness center, business center, laundry facility. The hotwire rate is $35 Any idea which hotels either of these might be? Thanks
  16. I bid $70 for the 3* East Lansing/Okemos, MI, but was rejected. I then had my husband try and got it for $90. It is the East Lansing Marriott - which I figured. I think it is the only 3* in EL/Okemos. Pretty good as the Townplace Suites is $71 (and quite a walk from campus) and the Marriott is listed at $159. Forgot to put this in - the room is for this Saturday for one night
  17. Hotwire has a 2.5* - for $83 per night for dates of 8/12 - 8/15: North Michigan Avenue - Water Tower - Gold Coast (Downtown Areas) - Customer Favorite! Selected amenities include: Boutique Hotel. Any idea if this is this the Tremont which has been downgraded to 2.5 from 3?? sue
  18. It was my first bid - I was quite surprised when it was accepted, I was SO SURE it was going to be rejected. I was also surprised at the hotel as I had not seen it on a pinned list anywhere - but that is the fun of Priceline!
  19. Priceline accepted my $65 bid for a 3* in downtown Toronto. It ended up being the Renaissance Toronto Downtown at Rogers Center (1 Blue Jays Way).
  20. I just booked the 3.5* downtown toronto - customer favorite. Amenities: Restaurant, pool, fitness center, spa services, busines scenter. You were right - it is the Sheraton Center. Used my $10 off per night from Hotwire for $69 per night for three nights before taxes and fees - not bad! Thanks for your help in pinning this hotel. FYI - I tried to priceline a 3* for $50 yesterday afternoon and was turned down. (In June I got the downtown Marriott Courtyard for $40 a night for three nights through a priceline bid for a 3*)
  21. I am looking for a room in downtown Toronto for Oct. 22, 23 and 24. I see a 4* best value (restaurant, pool, fitness, spa, tennis and business) for $79 - is this most likely the Hilton? I also see a 3 1/2* customer favorite (restaurant, pool, fitness, spa, business) for $79 - is this probably the Sheraton? Finally, I received an e-mail from Hotwire with a coupon for $10 off per night up to five nights, but I dont' see anywhere in the reservation place to put in the code. Have you ever used one of their coupons before? I figure the Hilton or the Sheraton at $69 a night would be a good deal, but wanted your thoughts before I book. Thanks Sue
