Bid $45 for a 2.5 star and was turned down. Then saw a Priceline express deal 2 star $36. Examples given were Holiday Inn, La quinta etc. Just below was a 1 star deal for 31.00.Examples of 1 star were super 8..yadda yadda. Booked the $36.00 deal because I DIDNT want a super 8 and ..you guessed it. They booked me in a Super 8!! Not happy and Priceline refuses to fix it saying that Super 8 is a 2 star.

2 star Louisville airport. Tried 2.5 stars $50..turned down..tried 2 star $50..turned down..tried 2.5 star $51...turned down. Tried 2 star $51. Got the Fern valley Hotel and conference center. WHAT? WHO? Checked and priceline has it listed for $51.00 no fees and cancelation guarantee. Called priceline..They were very nice. I got the difference plus 25 dollars refunded (38.00). And they are sending me a coupon book worth $50 off my next stay. Still. Not the hotel I wanted to stay at, or would have chosen, on on the very edge of their map and without the cash back guarantee it would have been cheaper to buy it straight away from Priceline without the hassle of bidding.

Hyatt Summerfield Suites Dallas/Lincoln Park Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas on Apr 9, 2010 to Apr 10, 2010 3 stars 59.00 (74.00 total) Listed as Park Cities Amenities: Suite, Smoke Free Rooms, Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Business Center, Laundry Facilities, Kitchenette Also has a shuttle but not to the airport ..runs m-f only. Taxi was $19.05 (not including tip) Taxi didnt take crdit card. B fast starts at 0630 so no bfast if you have an early flight. Booked through better bidding site. Very nice place..4 miles from Love Field. Normaly $118.00 plus taxes.

Tried to book this and repeatedly got.."This itinerary is no longer available." Could not book that one. Ended up with3.5-star hotel in Disney Main Gate - Celebration. Thanks to your site, I knew this is the hotel I would get and its what I wanted based on the hotels web site. It looked very nice. (but read below) This hotel features the following amenities: Resort Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access Tennis Nearby Resort fee ~$10/night **** THEN I read the reviews..HORRIBLE (dirty..old rooms..hard bed..smelly..disgrase to the Radisson name. etc)... Called to try and reserve a smoke free room and sleep number bed (bad back)..told I cant request ANYTHING because I booked through Hotwire. "You have to take what we have left when you get here. Thats the problem with Hotwire sir." I think I just made a horrible mistake and screwed up my vacation. lesson learned..read the reviews BEFORE you bid..duh.
