Hi there, I've just started looking into this whole Priceline thing, and this website is proving to be a very valuable resource. I was hoping somebody might be able to help me formulate a bidding strategy for a trip to NYC. I'm looking for something in the 3* range, hopefully around $90 if possible. Dates are June 20 - June 24. I'm not too picky about areas: CPS, MTE, MTW, TSTD, MSG, ESB, and Chelsea areas would all be suitable options. Not too many people bidding for a 3* around my dates, mostly for 4* which seem to be priced at $115/night or more. Should I start bidding in only one area at a lower price (maybe $85) and then add one more area for each rebid? Should I be raising my bid price each time as well? If so, by how much? Any suggestions on how to proceed would be much appreciated. Cheers, Brendan
