Please see bidding stratery below. And as always i used the link from this site to PRICELINE to make all my bids. Tried to get a 3* on Atlantic Ave. Viginia Beach section 9 on the price line map. Bid $55 in the Viginia Beach Area and was rejected. Used Browers Hill as rebid and raised bid to $65 and was rejected. Used Norfolk Naval Base and raised bid to $85 and was rejected. Started a new bid to get a 3* on Atlantic again and also included Chesapeake zone bid $75 and was rejected. Added Norfolk Naval Base to above bid and raised it to $90 was rejected. Decided to move into the Pembroke zone and bid on a 4* property for the same money that I was having trouble with in zone9 Virginia Beach Water front. Started with a low bid of $70 for a 4* in the Pembroke zone and was rejected. Added Viginia Beach Ocean Front and went up $85 on bid and was rejected. Added Norfolk Naval Base and upped bid to $90 and it was accepted. I know the reviews on this place go from amazing to so so but it is a true 4 * resort in the summer only 20 minutes to the beach front. Hope this helps any one looking for Virginia Beach for the week end of 6/26-6/28. I'm not sure if the new inventory will be in time for that weekend but I was getting hassled to get the rooms. If it was up to me I would have waited till next Friday. But I also was booking for 2 families so you know how that goes. Thanks RickZler
