Probably too late for your booking but for what it's worth I think it's the Marriott; they have a "newly renovated" pool and kids area. Please post your booking results if you do book!

Hi Yasmeen, I tried a few times yesterday and today on PRICELINE for Downtown Vancouver. I needed two rooms from 07/09-07/14. I started at $70 and went to $90 on 4*+. On my last try at $90, I added 3.5* I received a counter offer at $116. I didn't think it was worth it so I booked on HOTWIRE. Pacific Palisades at $78 and Westin Bayshore at $131. Just couldn't swing a deal on PRICELINE. To answer your questions: I started low; why not as you can always work up. I wish I had stared earlier, maybe I would have got the deal, but with only a week to go it was a no go. Didn't look at Vancouver South. Good luck, Ted
