  1. Began with 3.5 stars Nashville airport west for $66. Denied. Changed to 4.0"stars mNashville airport east for $66. Accepted at exactly the hotel we wanted!
  2. Pretty darn excited! Won Sheraton Music City in Nashville TN for one night 12/21/11-12/22/11 three rooms for $44 a night plus $15 optional insurance plus $33.87 taxes and fees = $180.87 total for three rooms. We've stayed many times and LOVE this hotel. This is 50% off! Thank you Better Bidding!! Bid history Zone 8 $42 declined Zone 8, 11 $44 plus checked the optional $5/room/night insurance box WON!
  3. Actually, Hotwire would only allow me to put in 2 adults (not one). Oddly, the hotel is not coming up now. Not sure what I did wrong. Sorry for the trouble.
  4. Hotwire $159 4 star Nashville airport restaurant business center internet exercise room pool dates: 7/19 (one night, two rooms) Any ideas what it might possibly be?
  5. We actually won the Marriott Stellaris several months ago on PRICELINE (before we found this site). I was hoping to add two rooms to the Marriott (we added two people to our trip), but we won two rooms at the Intercontinental instead. I'm actually okay with that, because I like to try new places, and the two hotels are only about 10 minutes apart. We'll have a rental car, so it shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for the well-wishes!! 6. Won Intercontinental in San Juan. 2 rooms total $243.24 ($105 each room plus $32.24 taxes and fees). Dates: 10/17-10/18/09 Bid: $75 rejected, $80 rejected, $85 rejected, $105 accepted.
  7. I worded this incorrectly. What I was wondering is what information did you enter (i.e. how many adults/children, the area you requested, and the number of stars/resort? Thank you.
  8. Would you share what the description of the hotel was before you bid please? I noticed you also won the Intercontinental for the next week. How did you tell them apart? Thank you.
  9. Before I discovered this website, I bid directly on PRICELINE for one night in October. I paid $118 for the Marriott Stellais rooms but with fees it totaled $144.47 (not including the resort fee which I believe I'll have to pay when I get there). Hope this helps.
  10. Was through Priceline or Hotwire? Did you bid $103 to begin with? And would you please share what features it had (i.e 4* or Resort, plus any other features)? Thanks so much.
  11. You are spot on. Thanks again. I'll be back again when my plans can be more flexible.
  12. I think we'll just change directions and not bid through PRICELINE. I can get another resort hotel by using a Senior Discount for $149 a night. It seems safer. Thank you for all of the information.
  13. Thank you for responding so quickly. We will be staying one night, October 17, 2009. We would like either two, possibly three rooms (or a 2 room Villa), and we'd like to pay approximately $115 per room (or $250 for the Villa).
  14. I'd like to bid on the Hilton Caribe in San Juan. Are there specific categories I can mark to increase my odds of getting this hotel? I've noted there are several resorts and that the Caribe is beachfront with no casino. Any help will be greatly appreciated as I am new to Better Bidding. Thank you.
