Not at all what I was expecting. I was expecting (and hoping for) The James. I'm not sure how they can call The Westin a boutique hotel, but I've never stayed there before and am still okay with the result. Business Center, Fitness Center, Restaurant, Hi-Speed internet 85% recommend

The price jumped from $156 to $189 overnight, so I'm going to wait and see.

Any suggestions on which hotel this is? I'm thinking Conrad or Westin, but would appreciate an expert opinion. 4/28-4/29 4.5*. 95% recommended Pet friendly Business center Restaurant Smoke-free Internet access Fitness Self-service laundry

Got exactly what I thought I would, very happy.

I was expecting Hotel 1000 since it was a 4.5*, but I am still pleased. Amenities also included 'pet-friendly'.

$57 for 2 star Waterfront Inn Mackinaw City for August 5-7. Pretty sure I got burned. Reviews are bad and can't be good when even its' own website pictures make it look like a dump! Oh well, hopefully the weather will be nice and we'll only have to sleep there. Sorry I didn't use the link from this site, but decided to post it anyway since there isn't much information on Mackinaw City hotels. I should add that I bid $47 to start and it was rejected. But then I was offered a chance to increase my bid by at least $10 without having to change anything else, so I upped my bid to $57 and got the Waterfront.
