  1. My experience is that adding a night is almost the same as rebidding because Priceline still runs through the program just like you placed a bid to see if they have availability at the same price. Either way you are charged another fee so it's best to book everything at once unless you need to split the bid because of a Friday or Saturday night price increase.
  2. I won this property on Priceline maybe 5 years ago. It is right next to Sea World and the marina with nice views in several directions. Enjoy! :)
  3. If you bid for your Priceline room it is not cancelable except under certain conditions (usaully illness accompanied by a Dr's note) though there are some that have gotten away with cancelations for lesser reasons: Pricelines T&C: Name Your Own Price
  4. After winning the Holiday Inn at DEN Airport my friend was offered a Economy car for $35 per day or a Compact for $36. Instead of accepting this we tried to bid. Compact $25 Rejected with a counter offer to increase the price without having to change anything else. 2nd bid $29 Failed saying you have to change something other than the price. Economy $30 Accepted Total $44.16 1 Day rental used Savingsbarn.com

  12. Sometimes they give ridiculous counter offers. I bid for a Resort in Las Vegas. My bid of $100 was countered with an offer of $200. I know that the JW Marriott usually comes up for $140 so that was an extremely high counter offer.

  15. I noticed a new listing in my profile named Priceline Rewards. Does anyone know when that started or what the earning criteria is? I booked a hotel after seeing it and have not been given anything so i am assuming it's not a per win reward. Maybe it's based on quantity of wins or dollar amounts?
  16. My sister bid on this and won on her 1st try Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $65.00 Subtotal: $130.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $27.37 Total Charges*: $157.37 Hyatt Regency Dallas Downtown Dallas 300 Reunion Blvd Dallas, Texas 75202 214-651-1234 The hotel website rate is $79 per night so I think she could have done better but she was happy so I kept my mouth shut.

  21. I recently spoke to the assistant manager at a hotel I won through Priceline and they confirmed they loaded one flat rate for the rooms they allocate to Priceline. They also told me they give Priceline 10 rooms per day at that rate. I'm sure some locations may have a different price structure for different days or possibly even block out some days or weekends.
  22. I agree. I was surprised at how nice it was. Unfortunately I arrived at about midnight and left the next morning at about 6am on my way to St. Croix so I didn't get to take advantage of the amenities.
  23. 1st bid $105 Your Offer Price: $105.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $105.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $25.30 Total Charges*: $130.30 I used a $10 credit so my out of pocket was $120.30, this may effect the taxes and fee's. 24. Nice win. I was hoping to get the Omni for this same date when I bid a few weeks ago. Instead I paid more for the Marriott. Maybe I shoulv'e waited? You know, it feels weird to complain about paying less than half the cost of a very nice room. Maybe I'll just be quiet and enjoy my stay this weekend. :)
  25. Started bidding for a 2 1/2 star for my dates in the Downtown San Diego and Coastal areas. Bid up to $65 without a win.
