  1. 3½ Star Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles Area for $166/night Time frame is this upcoming Friday through Sunday (checkout Monday morning). I've tried to figure it out, but I'm at a loss. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help! :)
  2. Hello. :o I need some help ID'ing this hotel... Las Vegas Strip - South area Hotel 4* $112/night +Casino +Fitness Center +Pool(s) +Restaurant(s) +Business Center +High-speed Internet Access +Golf Nearby +Tennis Nearby +Spa Services Dates: 6/18/10-6/20/10 It seems that both the MGM Grand and Paris have all of the amenities listed, so I'm not sure if it's possible to tell which one this is...but I figured that if anyone could figure it out, it would be you guys. :) Thanks in advance for your help! :)
  3. I ended up using Priceline and booking the Westin, which is great for my friends and I. We don't mind being a block east of the strip. :) I booked through your PRICELINE link, and posted my win on the Priceline board. Thanks so much for all your help! :) Best, Tamaire
  4. $85.89 after taxes & fees. Excellent deal, I think. I'm happy, as are the three others who are going with me. Thanks, BetterBidding folks! :) PS: Yes, I used your PRICELINE link, as it is now working again. :) Best, Tamaire
  5. I'm going to act like I work here and direct you this-a-way: Hotwire Hotel List :) - Tamaire
  6. Thanks so much. :) There is a good chance that I am going to book the Wynn, but I'm considering trying PRICELINE for the Planet Hollywood (or another 4* or 5* South Strip hotel). I've never used Priceline before, so if you guys have any advice for me, I'd really appreciate it. :o Is there any way to aim for a certain hotel when you use Priceline? I'm willing to go as high as $115-$120 a night, I think... Maybe $130. You guys are wonderful. Thanks so much for all your help. :) Best, Tamaire
  7. Yeah, my dad told me about the Chicago Blues Festival, which is apparently a pretty major event. They just didn't know about it when they booked their flights... I guess he found another (overpriced and inconveniently-located) hotel and booked that. It doesn't seem like he's too interested in making any more changes. Poor guy seems pretty much ready to be done with the whole thing. Oh, well. That's what happens when you wait until the last minute, I suppose. Thanks so much for you time and help, though, AaronJB & thereuare. Sorry this didn't really work out for any of us. :) (If it helps, though, I made another post on the Nevada Hotwire board for a couple of Vegas hotels, and seeing as how it's my trip this time, I'll definitely get it together and be booking through you guys.) Again, sorry & thanks much. Best, Tamaire
  8. A trip for me, this time. Not for flaky family members. :) Anyway... We're debating between these two options, and your help would be greatly appreciated. :) I have a feeling that the condo is @ the Trump, which, if I recall correctly, also means that we'd have to pay $30-a-day or so for parking. (Not too interested in that.) I'm also guessing that the non-condo option is @ the Wynn, but you guys are the experts, so I'll trust your opinions. :o Without further ado... ---------------------------------------------- 5-Star Condo in Central Strip Stars: 5 Location: Central Strip Dates: check-in 7/10, check-out 7/12 Price: $139 Amenities: Spa Services, Studio, Smoke-Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pools(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-speed Internet Access, Kitchenette, Condo Rooms: 2 Guests: 4 (2 per room) ----------------------------------------------- 5-Star Hotel in Central Strip Stars: 5 Location: Central Strip Dates: check-in 7/10, check-out 7/12 Price: $143 Amenities: Casino, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Spa Services Rooms: 2 Guests: 4 (2 per room) ------------------------------------------------- I'm also curious to know if the condo has two sleeping areas, or just one. No need to book two rooms if all four of us could stay in one. Thanks so much for all of your help. You guys are awesome, and I will DEFINITELY book through your site. :) Best, Tamaire
  9. Touristy would be preferred (Loop or Magnificent Mile), but the listing I posted was the closest I could find to those areas. Everything else was near the airport... Again, thanks so much for your help. I really, really appreciate it. :) - Tamaire
  10. I think the reason you are getting different results than I am is the fact that I forgot to mention something... I'm looking to book three rooms with one person per room. (It's a business trip, but they want to so some sightseeing while they're there.) I think that fact makes my task much more difficult... I'll definitely give PRICELINE a try, though I've never used it before and wouldn't mind a few tips... Oh, and I will of course use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links through this site. :) - Tamaire
  11.
