  1. I have one other crazy question. I was looking on hotwire for the dates of my stay and it appears to be coming up the Swan hotel. The only other hotel (that appears on your list) at the resort level which has availability is the Hilton in WDW. I know the Hilton also using Hotwire when selling off room stock. Why is this hotel not coming up on HW instead of Swan..when Swan is know to be a much more expensive room? I know HW only lists one hotel for each level..but do they always list the most expensive or least? I hope this is clear. Thanks~!
  2. PLEASE let me know what your results are thus far. I am also looking to bid on a PL Resort in this area during the same dates. I'd love your feedback!
  3. So in your opinion if a hotel has availability it could be an option on PL or HW... If a hotel is unavailable on their offical company website then there is no chance of getting a room there on PL? I think that would be correct considering what you stated above. I would like to thank you for all of your help on this. Please send me a link to the site you prefer us to book on. I don't have the link. I will let you know what the outcome is as soon as I am finished!!
  4. Okay thanks for your input. Did you use starwood.com to pull up those rates. I kept getting unavailable there. thanks again
  5. Also I am toying with the option of going to orlando on Jan 6-9 instead. I did notice on hotwire the four star hotel for those nights appears to be the dolphin. It goes for 164 a night. In your expert opinion do you think I am target with that assumption?
  6. For instance when I look up the Swan/Dolphin on Starwood.com they are both listed unavailable for 1/11/05-1/14/05 Although I believe the swan is listed on Hotwire on the above dates for 209 a night
  7. I am sorry if I am being repetitive in asking this question... I did look to see if I could find the answer elsewhere but was not successful. I looked up the PL resorts for orlando on their respective web sites to see what rates they had listed. I found that some of them were sold out for the dates I was interested in. I also noticed that some of these same hotels were listed in Hotwire for those nights. Do sites like hotwire and priceline buy out a bulk of dates before a hotel is completely out of rooms? I found this odd. Thanks for your insight to the above
  8. How did you go about winning the Wyndham at such a good price. Any new tactics for me to take in bidding on priceline for a WDW resort?
  9. What hotel would you recommend? This price does seem kind of steep for the time of year I am planning to go (their lowest season).
  10. Sure I just added my reply. I received my winning bid on Saturday. Again thanks for your help!
  11. I received the Hilton- on 6th Ave (MTW 4*) for $135 bid. Thanks for all of your help!
  12. While looking on Hotwire I think I found the WDW Swan hotel for $219 a night for 1/11-14/05. The amenities are as follows: 4* Resort, Restaurants, Pools, Fitness, Spa, Golf, Tennis, Business center Is this correct to your understanding? And do you think the price will lower if I wait any longer to book? Thanks!
  13. I'd be willing to stay in any of those hotels. I'd also be willing to stay anywhere in the midtown region if need be. No other back up plan or set price in mind...just the best price for the night and the region. Whatever you recommend should be fine. Thanks!
  14. I have never bid on priceline before and am really interested in doing so for my next trip to NYC. I am only staying one night (Thursday October 21st)...I'd like to stay in the Hilton, Marriot Marquis, Westin or like. Any advise on how much I should bid on that area (4*) for that night??? Thanks in advance!!!!
