  1. Just booked the Airport Radisson in Warwick for $69 using your HOTWIRE link. The only amenity listed for this property was for a shuttle. I think Hotwire is pulling a fast one here. Just before I booked the room the Customer Review Recommendation was listed as 85% and the overall experience was listed as 4.5. I went back and pulled up the hotel after booking and now the Customer Review Recommendation is listed as 35% and the overall experience is listed as 3. I wish I would have made a screen capture of the original recommendations before I booked the room because I think this is pretty shady on their part. I probably wouldn't have booked the hotel based on these ratings. It is too bad that Hotwire feels that they must mislead people in order to book hotels. Just my 2 cents.
  2. 9/15 3.5* $43 (added zone) 3.5* $47 (added zone) 3.5* $50 (added zone) 4* $47 (added 3.5*) 4*/3.5* $50 (added zone) 4*/3.5* $51 9/17 4* $50 (asked if I wanted to increase bid $14, added 3.5* instead) 4*/3.5* $51 Accepted for Indianapolis Marriott I knew that I did not want to stay at the University Place Hotel and based upon the historical bids for University Place I decided that I would not exceed $53. University Place has never been confirmed for a price under $54. I was prepared to bid under $54 every day, but luckily it only took two days. As always I used the betterbidding.com PRICELINE link when booking my hotel.
  3. It isn't coming up as an option anymore. I may hold off and see if it returns. I will definitely use the HOTWIRE link. I may go ahead and roll the dice with PRICELINE, even though I am pretty sure if I go with The Loop they will give me the Palmer House. I have read mixed reviews on the place, but if I can score it for $70 it is still a deal. This is a great site. Thanks for the help.
  4. I need help figuring out what hotel is listed on Hotwire. The amenities are: Fitness Center Pool Restaurant Business Center High Speed Internet 4 out of 5 with 260+ reviews on TripAdvisor (last reviewed May 2009). All of this leads me to believe it may be the Wyndham Chicago. I know it is listed as a 3.5* but I am wondering if it got bumped to a 4*. I checked out the amenities and reviews on TripAdvisor and the Wyndham seems to be the only hotel that fits the bill for MMA - Streeterville. My other thought was that the W Chicago was moved from the Loop to MMA - Streeterville. Any ideas?
