In town to see Neil Young at the Fox. Got the Greektown Casino Hotel. Was hoping for a little cheaper because it's midweek, but seems like a good deal considering it's summertime, downtown, and the parking is free. Booked through Betterbidding HOTWIRE link, of course. Free Internet, Free parking, Business center, Casino, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), In-room accessibility.

Free Parking, Complimentary Breakfast, Free Internet, Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Business Center, Laundry, Internet, Golf I was pretty sure it was the Ramada or the Northfield and either would have been fine. I'm happy with the Ramada and with the price for what's turning into a busy weekend in Springfield just before the Illinois General Assembly adjourns. I'll review the hotel when I get back. Thanks!

Oops. Sorry i missed your post or I would have replied earlier. Yes those were the amenities: suite, fitness, restaurant, business, internet. I'll post a review of the hotel when we get back.

Just booked the same dates and also got 2 rooms at the Doubletree for $209 (3 people per room). Very happy with the price. Not crazy about Times Square, but we're not planning to spend much time at the hotel anyway. And it's very convenient for the subway and transport to the airport. So once again thanks to BetterBidding, and also to matta2309 for the original post.

The Sheraton has apparently gone through a major renovation. The lobby is nothing special but the rooms are well laid out, clean, and have new flat screen tv's. We were there on a Sunday night (Nov 15) and it was very quiet, in the hotel and on the pedestrian mall. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. Parking in the lot next door now costs $10.50 a day - that's a special rate if you're staying at the Sheraton. The whirlpool is still out of service :)

Great stay at the Hyatt. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are starting to show a bit of wear, but otherwise they were clean, large and comfortable. The breakfast was simple and very good, and there was plenty of everything even when the hotel was full. We feel like we got a good deal.

Kids are free at the Dylan concert (Willie Nelson on the bill, too), so we're definitely taking them. I want them to see and hear these old-timers while they can :)

We wanted a pool for the kids and free breakfast after the Bob Dylan show. We would have preferred downtown, but this met all our other needs, the price was right, and we get free parking :) Looking forward to staying at the Hyatt. We used the Betterbidding HOTWIRE link.
