Got busy and wasn't sure of my schedule. Ended up waiting too long and the one we were looking at was gone. The only thing was a 3 star (don't remember the price) or a 3.5 star at $119. Just now got back to looking at things and will likely book tonight. The Hotel Contessa is a great place if anyone is wondering. I will update once we book using the board PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links.

I was only seeing the ones I listed. I copy and pasted so I don't think any were missing. When I go back that is all that is listed and the price is $127 $81. Was kind of hoping for the Hilton Plaza.

Started at $65 because I have won nights in that area for $60-$120 depending on dates and what was going on. Had to keep adding $5 and areas without 4*'s to get to $85. Pretty sure the 2 rooms and 2 nights cost me more than it would have for 1/1. Hotwire showed no hotels for those dates and Priceline was asking $119 for the JW Marriott on their non-bidding side. Have stayed in this place many times and it is a great location. They are always nice to you regardless of whether you have won through bidding on Priceline or paid full price. Love winning the JWM!

I've stayed at all of the 4* in that area before primarily using PRICELINE. You should be in good shape regardless of the property. I have never had an issue at any of them.

Thanks. With this being Greece and we are depending on the underground/trains for transportation so we were a little afraid to book through HOTWIRE. We ended up booking directly with the Sofitel airport directly.

$80 for 11/15/09-11/16/09 (Rock-n-Roll Marathon Weekend) using Priceline NYOP through the link. Couldn't get anything for bid of $150 a couple of weeks ago. I listened to my beautiful wife and waited until 11/8/09. As usual, she was right; the price had dropped dramatically. See you at the race!

Thanks for posting. I used this bid to get a priceline room this Sat night for my step-son and I to head down for the Greenday concert.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past when I frequently made business trips to Houston. It was a winning bid 3 times and usually in the $75-100 range depending on what was going on in the city. I had okay experiences twice but one time the room was horrible. In fact, it is the only time I ever wrote Priceline to complain about one. Personally, downtown was my last chance backup for when nothing else good be located. I much preferred using the Galleria area and usually had winning bids on the first try or by rebidding by adding a zone without a 4* rating.
