Just booked the Westin at $128 per night. Pretty great deal when most of the 4 stars I had seen the last couple of days were in the $190 to $210 range. One more posting, I booked the Silversmith back in July for one night at $101. This is a great place to stay, and I'd highly recommend it to anybody. I just wanted to share an update on this hotel win in Chicago. I kind of have to admit, though, I don't think this quite lived up to a 3 1/2 star billing, and this was more west of the Loop instead of in the main Loop proper. I would rate it a step below your typical Hampton Inn, honestly. I probably didn't do as well as I could have here, but I booked the Crowne Plaza in downtown Seattle for $190 per night for the dates of 6/23 to 6/27. Also happy to say that I used the Better Bidding link to book it on PRICELINE.

Rating: 4 Stars Location: Chicago Loop Dates: May 27 through May 30 Rate: $79 per night Amenities: Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet I've stayed at the Palmer House before, paying a whole lot more per night, and think it's absolutely wonderful!
