Just won a 4* downtown for today, 10/26 at $75. Omni Hotel.

Bid $50 on 7/28. PRICELINE counterbid $59. I passed. Bid $50 today 7/29 for a same day reservation, bid was accepted. Hyatt Vineyard Creek.

A couple months ago I started bidding every 24 hours. My bids have ranged from $35 all the way up to $68. Two star hotels in San Clemente on average cost approx $80 - $125. I've been bidding every 24 hours for the last month with no success either. Travel Dates 6/15 through 6/19. The Pacific Coast Builders Conference is going on that week. I know the organizers place a hold on a big chunk of rooms for those attending. I started at $60 up went up to $85 in the USE and Moscone areas. I'll try a little longer and maybe increase my bid to $90 if still no bites. Thanks for the heads up. dK
