We are bringing our 2 children on a vacation in a priceline booked hotel. I understand that only double occupancy is guarenteed when booking with priceline but decided to take the risk. I'm planning to call a week or so prior to request a room with 2 beds, and based on the hotel I got I don't think we will have a problem. I was just wondering though if other people who have been in this situation could share what their experiences have been as far as having more than 2 people to a room. Does it usually work out okay or is it a major problem? Also, I'm wondering if people are more likely to get a room that can accomodate 4 in places that tend to be very family oriented , such as the Disney area.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks!

Williamsburg, VA
1st attempt: 2.5 stars in Historic- Busch Gardens Area $35- rejected
2nd attempt:added Center- Outlets area and increased to $40- rejected
A few days later- went up to $50 (same areas and 2.5 stars)- rejected
Finally lowered stars to 2 but removed Historic- Busch Gardens area because I did not want Patrick Henry Inn or Days Inn, also lowered bid to $40- ACCEPTED!
I was SO happy to get SpringHill Suites!
Originally I had booked 7/26-7/31 ($200 + 38.64 taxes/fees).
When I found out I got this hotel I added the extra night (additional $40 + $13.08 taxes/fees).
I am a very happy first time PRICELINE user. Betterbidding.com was a big help to me- thank you!
