:)
Blast! Paid more thru Priceline than if I had just booked the room myself. It was adding the 3* that did it. Ah, well. I've had great success other times. You win some, you lose some.
Happy travels!
DATES: 6/17-6/23/2011. Sorry.
I used the re-zone method of bidding and was a little nervous at first; afraid I'd end up in a bad area. But it's great.
Thanks for another great hotel deal!
Stayed here 3/5/10-3/11/10. Room was clean; staff were generally helpful and very friendly. Location was good--a short walk to the main riverfront strip. Views of the river were great and unobstructed.
I would not stay at this hotel again for a couple reasons. The indoor pool is in the heart of the open lobby. One bar closes at 10pm and the other is a very trendy, quiet bar with few places to sit and so-so service. The PPV movie we rented was of poor quality due to a satellite issue; they couldn't fix it and didn't take it off our bill. Wi-fi was pay per use and expensive.
It's not a bad place to stay, just don't expect any extra amenities.
Tried a 4* up to $104. Started 3* at $75.
I see some other bidders got great deals for 4*. Congratulations!
I did notice that everytime I went to the bid page, the price listed as "average retail price for this area is..." was different. It kept going up.
Thanks for this site! I was sure to use the PRICELINE link.

Thanks, that's a great idea. I never thought of contacting Priceline for that. What method would you suggest I use to contact?
