  1. Got New Orleans Marriott Convention Center Hotel for $60 on Friday, July 30, 2010. Had hoped for the Hilton Riverside, as other bids had been accepted in the $50s, but this will be fine. It's a few blocks further away from the Quarter than I wanted. First bid $52 selecting only 4* Convention Center...... denied. Next tried $59 selecting 4* 3.5* in Conv. Center area..... denied. Bumped up to $60 and added French Quarter to Conv. Center..... accepted. Published rates for the same night through hotel site starts at $239. Oh, and used BB PRICELINE link to make reservation.
  2. Date of purchase was 4/18, date of stay was 4/20.
  3. Date of purchase was April 18, Date of Stay was April 21.
  4. Stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Tampa on 4/22. Paid $55 using Priceline, specified 3.5* and Downtown location. Tried $45 first, but was rejected. Hyatt was probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in, and downtown Tampa is unbelievably clean & easily navigated. Great experience!
  5. Got the Holiday Inn Maingate East in Kissimmee for $45 using Priceline. Specified Disney area, bid $45 for 3.5, was rejected, added 3* and was accepted immediately. Stay was two days ago, and it was the nicest Holiday Inn I've stayed in a very long time. Was a little worried, as I knew that the area is heavily travelled, and has been there for many years, but the hotel was great.
  6. Just got back from a whirlwind trip to central Florida. Used Priceline, got the Sheraton Orlando Downtown Hotel for $45/night by specifying 'downtown' & '3.5 stars.' $45 was my first bid, so it could have probably been gotten cheaper. Great hotel for the money!
