Got the Hotel Intercontinental at $88 a night - this surprised me since I am there for a conference and the going conference rate at the other hotels at the Rosemont convention center are in $150/night range - and those rooms are sold out Booked through the HOTWIRE link on this site. thanks!

I should have included this with the original post - but forgot to check. For the same days Priceline quoted $257/night (with $5 fee chop) The hotel website itself was offering these dates at $231/night

I pretty much figured I'd get this property at this price - but I went through a lengthy process starting just in MTE - 4* - $100 and bidding 8 more times, adding areas, raising my bid incrementally and eventually lowering star ratings Once again Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers, MTW, 4*, 04/30/09 - 05/05/09, $115/night booked through PRICELINE - linked here.
