thanks for the reply. I'm surprised at the large difference between the prices for north and south strip (Trump excluded), is there a reason that the north strip is so much higher? I wasn't expecting to have to pay that much through Hotwire. Would I be better trying to bid on priceline, do they typically go for less on priceline.

Hiya, This is probably a 'dumb blonde' question, but I'll go ahead and ask it anyway! I've used Hotwire successfully before booking just the one room for myself and my husband. This time I will need 3 rooms in Vegas, for 4 people. If I search for 3 rooms for 4 people, and find an offer that I'm happy with, I will get the same hotel for all 3 rooms won't I? Sorry if it's probably obvious that I will, I didn't want to go ahead and book and end up with us all in different hotel, especially as I'm in charge of the hotel booking! europe-chick aka dumb blonde!

Hi, I recieved lots of help from this forum last year when booking my Vegas hotel. I'm considering booking again for Vegas for next month May, I'm currently comparing flight and hotel prices for a number of US cities, can't quite decide exactly where to go! My question is this, I've been looking at 5* hotels in Vegas, when I booked last year there was a center strip option, this year there appears to just be south strip or north strip, would I be correct in thinking that north strip would be Venetian/Palazzo Wynn/Encore? what would south strip generally be for a 5*? Hi, I've just joined this forum and this is my first post so I'm sorry if I sound like I may be having a blonde moment! It's also the first time that I've attempted to use Hotwire. I want to book a 5* in Vegas for 4 nights, either 10th May for 4 nights or 11th May for 4 nights. Hotwire has a 5* in the Center Strip for both of my options at $95 per night, it has a casino on site so I'm guessing it's not Trump as there is also a 5* Condo listed which from everything I've read would be Trump. I would be more than happy with Wynn, Encore, Venetian, Palazzo, Bellagio. Definately do not want Trump. I think it is for Venetian as the trip advisor rating it gives it and the number of reviews correspond with Venetian on Trip Advisor, do you think that my assumption is correct? To be honest at long as it's one of my choices I don't really mind which. Could it be any other than I have listed at all? Thanks for any help.
