Hello - Just booked the Fairmont in Georgetown for 75% off. Rate was $650 and available for $175 in the PRICELINE EXPRESS section. Thank you for the knowledge to be able to figure out what I am buying before I buy it... that is awesome.
Wanted to pass along.... MEM Downtown is always a good location to score 4* hotels since there are only 3 and really only 2 that use Priceline regularly..(The Peabody which is tremendous and The Madison which is also very cool). Currently PL has a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for 4* Downtown at $127 or $128 per night. When you click on it the bed is referenced as "Peabody double" ... which pretty much makes this bidding process a no brainer. You know what you are buying for sure. And that is roughly half the regular Peabody rate. Safe travels. Scott

I was happy to get into this property for $75 on two day's notice .... but upon arrival I was not too happy to see the entire front and lobby under construction and the main restaurant closed.... As it turned out... They gave me a very nice junior suite king room for that rate. The service was excellent and everyone was very hospitable. I was very satisfied overall with it... But I was staying only one night... If you are planning to stay a while you may want to try to avoid this property until reno is done... March 2010. Thanks for a great service. scott
Thought it would never work - but it did.... after spending a while reading up on this site.... Thank you. Expense account limit is $150/night and my travel dept wanted me to stay at the Best Western Reagan Airport for $143 (kill me please!!) I am staying in town for $7 more. Started out at $120 and upped it $10 per time adding a safe zone each time. Rejected 3 times. Used your PRICELINE link. I will definitely use again.
