We recently selected a 3* on Hotwire for a weekend trip to Birmingham. We had planned to book the Hyatt Place Hoover because it was close to our destination (shopping at the Summit) but was $89 a night. We went on Hotwire and booked it for $60, not as good as Hyatt Place Franklin/Cool Springs (on Priceline last November for $47/nt.) but we saved $60 for the 2 nights. Hyatt Place is nice with the 40" Plasma HDTV's in every room. The breakfast area was crowded and the selection was sparse, though you could order hot entrees for an added charge. Overall, we were satisfied but likely will not stay there again.
