I really thought I had researched enough prior to my first bid w/ HW yesterday, but apparently not. I had the exact same thing happen as other posters. I asked for a room for three adults, and was defaulted to "two adults" and am now stuck w/ one king bed. The hotel has put in a request for two beds, but of course it isn't guaranteed. HW refused to budge and change it to a double bed room, although it would have been a very easy fix for them.

I just thought I'd let everyone know about my first experience w/ HW. I reserved a 4.5 star hotel in the Scottsdale area for $89 per night. I wound up getting the Intercontinental Montelucia in Paradise Valley. I was a little disappointed it was in PV- I thought HW would have specified "Paradise Valley" area, but it's still a nice property. I reserved for the end of May 2009. Just be prepared that "scottsdale area" encompasses towns other than Scottsdale. This is for the dates of 5/21-25/09.
