I can confirm this win today also. Thanks for the information! I used the new HOTWIRE interface on this site to book my room for July 4 and July 5.

Bid $75 for a 4 star in downtown Louisville (using your PRICELINE link of course) over Memorial Day weekend. Bid was rejected but was told that if I bid $101, I could do so without changing stars or zones. I did so and got the Brown Hotel for $101. Funny that when I went to the Brown's website, that weekend was unavailable for purchase at any price.

Asked for 3 1/2 star hotel near Airport in Nashville for these dates. As predicted on this site, was booked at Sheraton Music City Hotel.
