  1. I tried booking through PRICELINE up to $86 and was declined. I decided to go with the $99 Hotel on Hotwire because it had a high rating and I could add the 2 kids. Amenities Listed - Fitness Center, Laundry Facilities, High Speed Internet Access I used the links above for both PRICELINE and HOTWIRE I originally thought this was the Holiday Inn Express near the outlet mall, but it is actually quite out of the way...decent reviews though. It is listed as a 2.5* hotel on Expedia, Trip Advisor and PRICELINE and I have yet to see it advertised as a 3* anywhere. I believe it has a pool even though it is not one of the amenities that was listed.
  2. Thanks! I am hoping for one King Bed as they are used to sleeping with us at home. Our problem is usually the opposite - if we let them know we have kids they give us 2 double or queen beds, which makes sense, but is not so good for the little one. We've been pretty lucky so far with requests, but my only fear is that at some point they'll tell us no kids allowed - in 4 years that has never happened though:).
  3. Bid using PRICELINE link above: Did not try 4* because we are travelling with young kids and Caesars does not allow kids in the pool. 1st Bid accepted - $56 X 2 nights - $112 Taxes and fees - $27.10 Total - $139.10 ($69.55 per night) If it says the Hotel does that mean it is definitely not the Annex? I know that the Annex is a lower star rating, but most reviews talk about both, so I just want to make sure we won't get an Annex room.
  4. Bid on July 17 using the PRICELINE link above 1st bid - 4* $55 - denied rebid in increments of $5 to $70 - all denied Lowered Rating to 3.5* and bid $55 - denied rebid (by adding an area with no 3.5*) at $60 - PL offered a free rebid if I added $15 I declined the offer and rebid myself at $65 - accepted (Note - The last time they offered room to me for $15 more it only took $5 as well) 3 nights @ $65 + $38.55 taxes and fees = total $233.55 ($77.85 per night) Only downfall is there is no pool and only valet parking:(. Does anybody know if there is a self park anywhere near this hotel?
  5. Forgot to add that the Delta Chelsea is a 3.5* in the title...sorry! Attempt 1 - 4* Upscale - $45 - rejected Attempt 2 - added 3.5*- rejected Attempt 3 - restarted at 4* $50 - rejected Attempt 4 - added Toronto East (no 3.5 or 4 *s there) same price - rejected Attempt 5 - added 3.5* (I would have kept trying for 4* but I knew the 3.5* is Delta Chelsea and while the rooms are not as nice I am travelling with a 1 year old and a 3 year old and they have great play areas and activities for kids) - $51 - rejected Attempt 6 - added Toronto West (no 3.5or 4 *s there either) - $55 - accepted. It is likely that I could have got a 4* for around the same price and could have added many more areas that would have let me try again but as I mentioned above I was confident that by adding 3.5* I would almost definitely get the Delta Chelsea or a 4*. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: US$55.00 Subtotal: US$110.00 Taxes & Service Fees: US$22.97 Total Charges: US$132.97 I used the Better Bidding PRICELINE Link to book the hotel. Thank you for all of the great advice on this site! I have rebid before using different CCs and email addresses but didn't realize until tonight that I could bid up to 8 times in Toronto by adding zones without high star ratings and rebidding, a VERY USEFUL strategy!
