Bid $53 on 2.5* in Council Bluffs. Won this Holiday Inn and Suites--3*--on first attempt. Yay!

Started with $40 bid for Disneyland South. Added the following areas in order, increasing bid by 1 or 2 dollars: Anaheim Hills Laguna Beach Seal Beach Disneyland North Newport Beach Dana Point Won Crowne Plaza for $50...happy because so last minute.

It's actually listed in my Priceline receipt at 7333 Husker Circle, but it is in the Airport-Lincoln North area.

Started with 2.5* at $30. Had to lower * to 2* and raise bid a little. Won 2* at $35. The hotel was fine--nothing fancy. But $35 couldn't be beat!

Bid $45 for 2.5* West Des Moines. Added Urbandale and increased to $50. Added Ankeny and increased to $52 and won. Used the PRICELINE link from betterbidding.

Bidding on two rooms. Bid $48 for 3*. Was offered $10 priceline increase to win. Chose to start again. Added 2.5* at $50 and won Red Lion.

Started bidding with just Rancho Cordova selected at $44. Added $2 dollars each time and adding another non-4* area. Finally won bid at $54. Happy!

It's pretty hard to find any deals near Mt. Rushmore during peak season. Finally took this one because priceline wouldn't accept any bids--all the way up to $95--in varying places and star levels. Decided at least this hotwire offer was a 2* so took it. Used betterbidding links to HOTWIRE and PRICELINE, btw. Amenities: pool restaurant laundry hi-speed internet

I was inquiring, trying to find a room for a friend. I had booked rooms for my family much earlier. I was hoping that good hotel rates would convice her to come with us. But no such luck, darn economic meltdown. So I didn't end up booking any of these hotels. But, now that I've discovered betterbidding, I will definitely be coming back. Thanks for such a great service!
