  1. Thought it was going to be Summerfield Suites but I guess this Westminster hotel was another 3* in the same area. Luckily I wanted to be as close to Westminster as possible anyway. However, it is only ~20 savings vs booking on actual Best Western site.
  2. 4* Hilton USW $70 5/22. Decided to stay an extra night and bid that same night and got the 4* Westin St Francis for $69 (6/23). Liked both hotels. The bed at the Westin is obviously much better. Hilton has a larger and more extravagant lobby. The St. Francis is facing Union Square and has a more old world charm to it.
  3. Was trying for two consecutive days 6/12-6/13 at around 70 and was being rejected after several attempts. Decided to split up the days and got Grand Hyatt for Friday 6/12 for $69.
  4. Bid 69 for USE first then added USW at 72 and was accepted by Parc 55.
  5. I had been trying this bid for two weeks now and had at one point bid up to $85 a night with no luck. Just tried today and got the hotel on the first try selecting 4* and Downtown at $70. We booked 2 nights and 2 rooms. Total was $335.54. this is a pre-cruise stay and we are very happy with this win!
  6. Bid 69 for USE, declined, then also selected USW and raised bid to 71, accepted @ Hilton SF - 5/23
  7. Actually, upon the end of the stay, I told the front desk about a few issues in the room...remote working 30% of the time, and coffee maker which was having issues. They cut the parking rate in half to $8. Overall, I was pleased with the stay.
  8. Tried endlessly with all options to get the $35 a previous poster got, even lowered my star rating to 2.5* with no luck. After exhausting all possible combinations, I ended up using a friends account to book this room with the following attempts: $35 Costa Mesa - No $38 Add Buena Park - No $40 Add Disneyland - No $42 Add Seal, Fountain Valley - No $43 Add Newport, Huntington - Yes Kept star rating at 3.5* throughout. I'm ok with the price at this point, just wish there wasn't a $12 parking charge per night. Any way to get around it? I know they have a complimentary shuttle w/in a 3 mile radius...
