Been bidding for almost 3 weeks now and still nothing. 1st choice was Maui - Ka'anapali (hoping for Sheraton since many folks were getting $150-160) 2nd choice is sort of up in the Air, I can go with Maui Wailea or a resort in Kaui. Any good bidding strategies? I think one of the problems is my travel date, 6/27 - 7/1, landing on July 4th weekend :) I've bid as high as $175 for Maui but no luck.

oops, yup forgot to add that note, I did sign up for the hilton honors programs. Still waiting for them to send me the card. Any help on the 800# number and when should I call? now or 4-5days before my checkin date.

4* NYC MTW New York Hilton And Towers July 2 - July 5 1st bid - 75 MTW 2nd bid - 85 MTW+MTS 3rd bid - 93 MTW+MTS+UWS reviews are mixed with this place, hopefully, I'm one of the lucky ones and get a nice room. BTW, I did some reading and it was recommended that I call in beforehand to reserve a room. Any help on the 800# or any other suggestions? thanks, p

I just got a bid for NYC Hilton Towers for $93 but fter reading some shaky reviews I was wondering if you can give some suggestions on what to do to ensure we don't get one fo those dinky "priceline rooms". Someone mentioned to called a 800#, and ask to reserve a room before actually showing up in the front desk. Is there anythign else we can do to avoid one of those "bad" rooms and also what is the 800# to call? TIA!
