Used the PRICELINE link on BetterBidding. Room $50.00 Taxes $7.64 Fees $ 8.01 Total $65.65 Had bid on previous days for 3*, 3.5* and 4* for Rochester--Downtown, NW ROC Airport and Rochester South-Henrietta at $45 and $46 but failed. Also failed was 2.5* and 3* for NW ROC Airport and Rochester South-Henrietta for $49. Would have preferred not to be downtown (must pay for parking, etc.), but satisfied with the rate and the hotel (at least based on a visit there a few years ago).

Bid over two days (2 different bid cycles), employing various rebidding strategies (adding "dud" zones). Plus taxes and fees of $32.10 total came to $188.10. I hope Loews Philadelphia has resolved some of their housekeeping issues I have read about in TripAdvisor. Parking is a rip-off there, so I'll probably park a few blocks away at another garage. Incidentally, also tried for 3* and 3.5* for same period over two days. Failed with bids as high as $60 for 3* and $71 for 3.5* for Philadelphia (Downtown). Hope this helps others bidding.

For 6/27/09-6/30/09 rate is $81/night. Anyone have any idea what property this is? Thanks!

Originally bid $31, given opportunity to rebid for $8 more. Elected to wait 24 hours and rebid $3 more at $34 and won. Used the betterbidding.com PRICELINE link for bidding.

Bid on March 16th for 1 night in Chelsea. Originally bid $64 for 3* and lost, so added 2.5* and got the HI Express MSG. Have stayed there before and am thoroughly pleased (nice property, good sized rooms, free hot breakfast). Hotel is as good as the Priceline 3* properties in Chelsea. Added bonus: hotel has a contract rate with a local parking garage for $24 for 25 hours parking (no in/out)--check HIE hotel page for details or call hotel for garage location.

Bid on March 2nd for $49/night for 4* in Buckhead and lost, then added Midtown zone (no 4* properties available) and rebid at $54/night. Won two nights at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead. Had a great stay for a great rate. Breakfast suggestion: go to building next door (out front of hotel towards right) to eat breakfast at Flying Biscuit.
