Hi, Trying to identify a 2.5* in Myrtle Beach North 4/20 - 2/24. Amenities include Resort, beachfront, oceanfront, fitness, swimming, restaurant, business center, laundry. I was thinking it may be the grande shores ocean resort based on the trip advisor rating but not too sure. Thanks very much.

Thanks for your reply. OK, so I read through many of your help topics and I think I'm now a pro (well, maybe not a pro). I figured out that this hotel was a Murray Hill hotel (I forget the exact name) and the reviews were not so hot. Outdated, bad smell, etc. So, I was able to use your listing of hotels, found another one in NYC near madison square garden and was able to identify this as the brand new Wyndham which had great reviews. I cautiously entered my credit card info and was psyched when I found out I was right - that was the hotel I was able to get. $104 a night for 2 nights. Thanks for your website. I think I found a new way to travel. ps: I then went to the Wyndham site and wanted to see the price if I booked right through them, which is what I would have normally done. It was over $200 per night for the same nights.

Hi, New to this site. Trying to fully understand hotwire vs priceline. Basically, my wife and I are going to NYC this weekend for dinner, a play, etc. Checking in 3/13 and out on 3/15. Were going to stay in CT but then thought I'd look for a decent rate in the city. I see a hotwire hotel for $88, a 3 star, near Empire State. the price looks low. What are the chances I could get stuck in one of these "pod rooms" I read about? Maybe I'm not risky enough for this lol. Just want a nice room in a decent part of the city, etc. Any thoughts appreciated.
