Have tried booking the past few months for 4*, 3.5* and 3* and were rejected . Yesterday, I was working on my same routine of bidding. Start bidding for a 4* from $90+$5 hotel cash reward = $95 and then incrementing $5 in each area until $125 ($120 bid) but no luck <_< . Then I started all over again for 3.5* again with no luck <_< . Finally, I start bidding for a 3* from $95 ($90+5) and won this in the 5th area for $115 ($110 with cash reward). Hotel: Aston Waikiki Sunset Period: May 4, 2013 - May 6, 2013 Room: 1 Nights: 2 Rm cost: $110(USD) Rm subtotal: $220 (USD) Taxes & Fees: $43.06 (USD) Total Room Cost: $263.06 (USD) In Expedia site the lowest price for this property is $151.20+tax = $341.62 (USD). A saving of $78.56 (USD). Also, there will be a $15 per night resort fee apply upon check-in but I can't find any complains about this charge in the review. :( This hotel has 86% of guests recommend and 3.9 out of 5 Expedia Guest Rating. I hope this is not too bad.

Won this hotel on July 9 through betterbidding.com link to HOTWIRE.com Intent to bid for a 3* hotel in seattle airport area from priceline for the last few months but not successful. I've tried hotwire this morning and find this offer for a 3* hotel in Tukwila with airport shuttle. Thought it would be Courtyard by Marriott but ended up with 3*Best Western Plus Rivers Edge. I've just called PRICELINE and they said they can cancel this reservation for me with a fee of one night room charge. If I make another reservation within a certain period of time, this one night charge will be refunded and a $25 change fee will be applied. Since we're only booking for one night stay and if I can't get a hotel in the downtown area that I want for a lesser price, that will be an additional to my cost. In that cast I'll just leave it and take a taxi there.

Intent to bid for a 4* hotel in downtown Ft Lauderdale for our cruise but when I lower my hotel star to 3.5*, I've clicked in the wrong area Ft Lauderdale North and got this hotel by mistake. :) I think the hotel class is okay but it will cost us $40 taxi one way to the hotel and $40+ taxi to the cruise pier in which we have to pay around $65 more for transportation. Also this hotel charge $10/day for parking if I decided to rent a car and it charges for using internet in the room too. Added in West Orange and rebid for $50 - ACCEPTED. :) I thought I'll be getting Hilton at Penn but ended up with Marriot. Reviews looks good on this hotel and it looks like the internet access is complimentary. Hopefully it is easy to transport to/from NYC. That should be Seralago Hotel & Suites Main Gate East. I've just won this hotel in a price of $37/night from Mar 27 - 31. 4 nights + 24.62 tax = $172.62. As far as I know, there's no resort fee for this one. I hope. Travel_lover
