  1. I guess I was a little trigger happy and ended up booking for my dates at a price higher than my initial cap.. but I got the Sheraton on Kaanapali for $210. (Bids: 180, 190, 200 - told to add $25, 210). Maybe not the best deal, but apparently its a great hotel! Used your PRICELINE link. Check-In Date: Tuesday, July 7, 2009 Check-Out Date: Friday, July 10, 2009 Hotel Name: Sheraton Maui Hotel Ka'anapali - Lahaina 2605 Kaanapali Parkway Lahaina Maui, Hawaii 96761 808-661-0031 Your Offer: $210.00 Number of Nights: 3 Subtotal: $630.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $91.60 Total Charges*: $721.60
  2. Hi, Needed some help identifying two 4* hotels on the strip. Used your HOTWIRE link and found the following two results: $89 / night (Central Strip) TripAdvisor 4/5 1640+ ratings Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Golf Nearby Spa Services and $99 / night (South Strip) TripAdvisor 4/5 2440+ ratings Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services Thanks for the help!!
  3. Accepted on third bid (110, 120, 130). @ 120 I was told I would be accepted if I added $22 more to the bid, added another rebid zone and went up to 130. Was expecting the sheraton in Poipu, and was slightly disappointed having gotten the Marriott on Kalapaki, especially because having checked the reservation on Marriot.com, our room has "no view". I hope we can try and convince the reception to move us to another room, but I guess these are the risks you take booking on Priceline. On the other hand, having never been to Kauai before though, I think we will be happy anywhere - especially since we won't be spending much time in the room. Hotel Name: Marriott Kauai Resort And Beach Club 3610 Rice St Kalapaki Beach Lihue, HI 96766 808-245-5050 Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $130.00 (USD) Number of Nights: 5 Room Subtotal: $650.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $94.30 (USD) Total Room Cost: $744.30 (USD)
  4. Using your PRICELINE link, I tried bidding 180, 190, and 200 and did not get accepted unfortunately. Would you recommend sticking to this level and trying daily? My Kauai trip is on different dates and I just bid and got the Marriott Kauai. Will post that seperately.
  5. Just bid using the PRICELINE link and was rejected for a resort in kaanapali for 150, 160, and 170. Also bid on a resort in Kauai and was rejected at 105 and 110. Would really appreciate some help on strategy if possible. Thanks! Miqdad
  6. Hi, This is my first time using PRICELINE (I just posted a bid that I won at the Wailea Marriott). I am looking to get a Resort in Kaanapali from July 7th to the 10th and was wondering if you had some bidding strategies. I already submitted a bid for $140, $145, and $150, all rejected. Should I continue at this level or increase? Also, how often do you recommend bidding at the suggested level (daily, or weekly)? I will also be looking for a resort in Kuaui from July 2nd to the 7th and wanted some strategies for that. Should I create a new topic? I had submitted a bid at $90 and $100, both rejected. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Miqdad
  7. Accepted on the second bid (first bid $150). Does this look like a good deal?
