  1. 90% recommended; Free Internet, Free Breakfast, Pet friendly Got two rooms but the price was exactly double for two rooms over one room......One room with fees and taxes was $146.82 If booked directly from it's own website with fees and taxes would be $169.37
  2. Great hotel for a 2* with free parking and amenities, used the HOTWIRE link. Free internet, free parking, pet friendly, business center & smoke-free rooms...90% recommended I checked both one and two rooms and it was the exact same. Per room: $72, w/fees & taxes, $88.17 close to a 40% savings
  3. Used the HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links like always...I had a $10 priceline voucher and was unable to land a hotel during this date at a $108 bid ($98 + $10 bonus cash) Amenities: Casino Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Free Parking Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower Rate per night: $98.00 Nights: 1 Rooms: 1 Tax recovery charges & fees: $20.05 Subtotal: $118.05 Best deal was $123.20 if booking directly...
  4. Well, no dice...Hotel said it's impossible to cancel...I guess I'll call again tomorrow and hope I get someone else...
  5. With bonus cash, is there a consensus that it really is as good as cash? Eg a $50 bid is really as a good as a $40 + $10 bonus cash? Just wondering...I guess really my bid was $82... These dates are Sunday-Wednesday, I tried the "split" or "divide and conquer" method where you bid separately on the expensive nights...I'm arriving on Saturday and somewhat luckily, I only had a 4* for one night...It was about $110 bid, but I suppose could be a lot worse like all four nights...I called priceline 3 times, all times I have a CS rep with an accent, they all went through the same routine...Give you a $10/night coupon up to $50, capped at a 4* (the other two times they asked if I received the coupon), ask for a supervisor and you get a relations manager, also foreign and they say they're as high as they go...Impossible to change/refund, have to write the company...Guess I'll write it off as a "stupid tax" as Dave Ramsey says...
  6. Thanks, this info be should a sticky here and other places with the issue... I understand what you're saying...When I rebid, I don't believe I saw any identifier as a resort as an option... Also, I noticed priceline added a different rebid screen which a HUGE box to enter your bid...During my 8(?) rebids, the screens would cycle from the older and newer...
  7. They MAY "upgrade" you to the 4* J.W. Marriott Las Vegas Resort And Spa in the zone...The hotel is unstarred according to PL but rated 4* by trip advisor...The Summerlin Zone is up to 3.5 star rating...Yet if you bid 4*, 4.5* or 5* you MAY get stuck with the off strip, summerlin zoned J.W.Marriot...
  8. Used the HOTWIRE and PRICELINE link like always. Utilized the $7/night bonus coupon so I was agressive and bid in $5 increments since the coupon expires today, $70/night failed. Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $75.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 3 Room Subtotal: $225.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $41.16 (USD) Total Room Cost: $266.16 (USD Best deal I could find was $502.78 so nearly a 50% savings...
  9. Amens: Breakfast and Internet Note this a holiday weekend. Tried bidding on priceline on the same items...Failed at $52/night and decided to use hotwire. Rate per night: $49.00 Tax recovery charges & fees: $12.00 Subtotal: $61.00 If booking online directly it's $153/night.
  10. To follow up...Free parking and wifi, room has a large fridge, hotplate, microwave and dishwasher. Free daily breakfast buffet and nightly reception from Tues-Thurs. Maid service is Mon-Fri, optional on saturdays and not available on sundays or holidays. I will say this isn't my definition of a suite; the room is shaped in a L vs having a bedroom with a door. Also it has a small non-HD tube TV. Still a good deal for the money.
  11. I'll follow up, self parking is $10/overnight, I think $5 if just the day. Internet is free. Upon check-in was offered a bed choice. Room has a sectional couch and a microwave but no fridge...Yet perhaps you can ask for the front desk for one...
  12. Used the PRICELINE link as always, bid over multiple days in one dollar increments and won. If booked on Staybridge directly, their advanced purchase non-refundable rate is a grand total with fees and taxes: $267.90 Room Subtotal: $123.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $26.31 (USD) Total Room Cost: $149.31 (USD) Appears to have free parking, free internet and light evening reception...Since it's a suite, always nice to have a bedroom, a fridge and microwave.
  13. Used the PRICELINE link as usual...Bid in one dollar increments utilzing the re-zone method until $70 was accepted. If booking on the same night directly on the Hyatt Grand, with fees and taxes: $196.04 total Parking is around $20/day but there is a slightly cheaper garage next door...Internet is not free... Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $70.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $70.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $18.37 (USD) Total Room Cost: $88.37 (USD)
  14. Used your PRICELINE link. I took a screen shot just before I bid... Ammenities were for the 3.5* were: POOL BUSINESS CENTER 7+ I bid over several days utilizing re-zone in one dollar increments. Again I was bidding on the 3* and got upgraded to 3.5*. When booking the Crowne Plaza directly, their advanced purchase/non-refundable rate including fees/taxes was: $224.98. Self parking is $13, vallet $18...Internet seems to be free... Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $51.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 2 Room Subtotal: $102.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $21.56 (USD) Total Room Cost: $123.56 (USD)
  15. Used the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links as always... Amenities: Smoke Free Fitness Center Pool Restaurant(s) Business Center High Speed Internet Access Spa Rate per night: $83.00 Nights: 3 Rooms: 1 Tax recovery charges & fees: $45.73 Subtotal: $294.73 LOWEST price on sheraton.com Estimated total for your stay** 1 room(s) for 3 night(s): USD 1,043.05 This is labor day weekend but I was shocked to learn I saved nearly $700. To add, on priceline yesterday I bid on a 3.5* in the FW downtown zone only and got up $130/night which was rejected. I checked hotwire yesterday and there was only a $177/night option with I believe the same amenities. Today I bid on PRICELINE 3*, downtown FW only and bid up to $100 and failed. Then I check HOTWIRE and boy am I glad I did.
  16. Room Subtotal: $36.00 Taxes & Fees: $12.24 Total: $48.24 If booked directly through the hyatt, with fees/taxes: $74.58
  17. Overall great stay...Everything is on tripadvisor...Free hot breakfast buffet and a free nightly social (free beer, wine and some food items such as mac and cheese and salad) but it was only Monday-Thursday, unfortunately, I only got to benefit it on Thursday. There's no free airport to hotel shutter, cheaper options are the door to door super shuttle, using the 10% off promo code (GEICO), the out the door price is $34.20 for a round trip. The super shuttle is right outside the airport and has one leaving every 15 minutes. There is the sky ride bus service which is $18 for trip, but there will walking and it's not nearly as frequent. Parking was $20/day and valet only, there were some cheaper $7/day self pay lots nearby. Lastly there is no pool but a 24/7 hot tub.
  18. I think there are are two hotels, but looks like the thread was corrected. Thanks
  19. Used the PRICELINE link like always. I actually bid on a 3 star but I guess I got a free upgrade to a 3.5 star? Bid over several days in one dollar increments and won at $51. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $51.00 Subtotal: $204.00 Taxes & Fees: $36.84 Total Charges*: $240.84 When I go to book directly, there's a studio room. Grand total with fees and taxes: $592.63
  20. Used the BB PRICELINE link like always. Worked over days bidding in one dollar increments, finally won at $54. bid $54 tax $14.46 total $68.46 Best price on through the hotel site was $102.32 (non-refundable prepay advanced purchase rate) $34 savings on the Thursday before memorial day weekend.
  21. Used the BB PRICELINE link like always. Started at $55 and increased by a dollar until I finally won, over days, at $73. bid $73 tax $17.27 total $90.27 Self parking is $20, valet is $28. Best price I could find booking without priceline was the $125 with all fees and taxes. So a $35 savings...
  22. Used the PRICELINE link like always Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $38.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 2 Room Subtotal: $76.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $18.52 (USD) Total Room Cost: $94.52 (USD) If booked through the Radisson website, total would of been $202.48 for the cheapest room. I was super impressed with this room, it has the select number comfort bed, free shuttle service to either the airport or a 5 mile radius to bars or restaurants, free internet, free parking, fridge and sitting area. The most impressive thing is it has a sink in both the bathroom and outside the bothroom with a mirror. It looks really old on the outside, but the rooms have all the latest bells in whistles IMO. I stayed at the RTP Wyndham last month and enjoyed Radisson much more.
