Priceline failed me once again today. Went through all my re-bid zones for 4* & 3*. Ended up going to Hotwire - InterContinental for $149. More than I wanted to spend - but I hear the hotel is crazy good. Thanks for everyones help!

Ideally I'd like to spend no more than $130 via PRICELINE - Unfortunatelly it's looking like I won't be able to go that route. I'll check out the hotwire rates.

I've exhausted all rebidding zones and gone up to $123 (the median price for the areas -as per priceline) and still can't get an accepted bid. I'm going to SF Thursday 8/26-30. Am I having no luck because it's last minute? trying for 4* USE or USW tried rebidding using CC, FD, FW, Soma, South SF, SFO North, & Marina

Hi There - I found a great rate for my trip to SF this weekend through lastminutetravel - but when i was about to pull the trigger I got a notice saying it could take up to 48hours for them to confirm the rate. It's Monday and I'm flying in on Thursday - I don't want to wait till the last minute to find out if I've got a hotel. Has anyone used this? Do they really take 48hours? Do you normally recieve the rate they published? Many questions, I know - but I appreciate the help! Thanks. :)

The closets you'll get to the ball park would be the Financial Dist - Embarcadero. However, if you looking at Union Sq East or West you are not that far Same for Fisherman's Wharf. -SF Resident :)
