I bid on this yesterday....thinking it would be the Hotel James...Our 4.5-star hotel suppliers include: The Leading Hotels of the World, Preferred Hotels & Resorts, and other top brands. Turns out it is the Hotel Intercontinental. The price is high because there is a big convention just leaving town around that time...and a few smaller ones going on (to which I am attending) $175 a night June 8-11th. Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Bussiness Center High-speed Internet Access Not thrilled about the Hotel Intercontinental. Can anyone say anything to make me feel better?

Thanks for the advice. I will be in town on business...and will want to walk around and do things at night, shopping, Millenium Park, Navy Pier, etc.

We ended up booking directly with the Venetian, because I didn't want to take a chance and stay at the Wynn. We got a great promotional rate of $99 a night. In all honesty, I may consider the Wynn next time. Even though it doesn't have a food court, it is hands down a beautiful hotel.

We never ended up staying in a Condo. We did end up going with Crowne Plaza Resort which is a hotel right on the beach.

Can anyone figure this out? Dates June 8-11th at 75 a night. 3.5*, Recommended by 75% of guests. Trip Advisor rating of 4 Stars, 200+ reviews (Hotwire or Trip Advisor I'm not sure) Price $75 a night. Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access Thanks.

Thanks for pointing out the "Leading hotels of the world"...What would the hotel's amentieis have to have (or not have) to make you think it could be the Venetian instead of the Wynn. Perhaps the golf?

5* Central Strip - Leading Hotels of the Word, Five nights 11/10-11/15/09 @ 174 a night. I am confused to which hotel it can be. It's five star, but it is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World...so I think that rules out the Venetian, doesn't it? Any ideas on what hotel it can be? Thanks! Well, I just booked a 4* Hotel in Charleston for March 22-23......and I've been watching hotels for the last month or so, and I ended up with the Holiday Inn Mills House. Now, I got a decent price, $115, but I hardly think that the Mills House is a 4 star hotel. I will never, ever use Hotwire again. I just got off the phone with them, and one person told me that the rating was changed on March 11th, and afte I asked to speak with a supervisor, she said they have no way of telling when a rating is changed. I tried to get them to refund me...but they won't. Getting the Mills House in Charleston as a 4 star is like getting the Sheraton in Manhattan instead of the Plaza. I think hotwire totally misled me on this one.

Any thoughts on what this can be? I don't think it's the Harbor view because it doesn't mention breakfast....
