Got the Marriott Orlando Airport yesterday for $38. I had bid $30. and was rejected but could rebid immediately for $8. more. This is for 12/24/04. It's still a lot less than Marriott's prepaid rate of $89.

So I landed up with the Marriott Orlando Airport for $38. Rooms are going for this date for $89-$119 on the non-bidding booking sites as well as Marriott's, so I am very happy. This falls within your $39. limit.
