Yea, finally got my nerve up and after being rejected by PRICELINE took the 105. offer under HOTWIRE! We got 3 rooms at the Sheraton on Canal for one night 3/23. Just for your info Eric Clapton will be in New Orleans that night. Thanks for your help!

I did place bid on Priceline using the BiddingHelper.com link here. I tried 135. for a 3 1/2* and was rejected. If I book on HOTWIRE how do you know that might be the Sheraton? They have a list and even say some independent hotels. Thanks for all the help. I have always wanted to try bidding on these.

If I am reading that site correctly it looks like the 4* in french quarter goes any where from $251. to $449. and the 3.5* is $178. to $218. Thanks,
