  1. Hi there! Just snagged a great deal! Although maybe I started a bit too high as my deal was snagged on first bid! I bid $60 4 starts in Halifax zone only. Cheers
  2. Thank you for your help. The cost for a hotel on hotwire is a lot higher than what people are winning for hotels in priceline. The difference is quite large. I have used priceline for years but never for an all inclusive. I might just give one of the hotels a call to see what the difference might be if I add a child to the room. Thanks again
  3. Hi there, We are open to a destination at this point, and we are thinking end of March beginning of April. I have a followup question on this then. I am travelling with my BF and my daughter who is 9. I know that Priceline assumes 2 people, and there isn't a way to add anyone else. How do I include my daughter in the room? Is this something I would need to call the hotel on after I win, and pay a fee for her? Any ideas? Thanks, Michelle
  4. Hi there, I would like to understand how bidding on an all-inclusive works on Priceline. I see that people have placed winning bids on AI hotels in the forum and they are listed in the hotel list as well. But then I saw a comment from someone on the site mentioning that you don't get AI from priceline. Can someone let me know how it works please. Thanks, Michelle
  5. Hi there, I did do a bit of research for bids on the 5* hotels and the lowest accepted bid (lately) was $78 so when they accepted at $76 i was quite happy! Here are my bids: Zone 2 $70 Nope Offered free rebid if I go up by $22 Zone 2,3 $74 Nope Offered free rebid if I go up by $22 Zone 2,1 $76 Won! This Hotels location in Amsterdam is perfect right next to Dam Square! I did click the PRICELINE link on this site. Cheers, Michelle
  6. It is pretty odd. I can look at the PRICELINE hotels (not by bid) and check out the map view and there isn't even 1 hotel in the North Zone. I will go with my gut and try some bids. Thanks
  7. Hi there, Anyone know if there are any hotels with Priceline in the "North" area? I see none listed in the hotel list, but I can't imagine that there are none. Thanks, Michelle
  8. I bid on two rooms starting at $60 adding zones as I went and got a bid at $62.00. I rushed the bids because I only had bid the night before we went, so there wasn't a lot of chances for 're-bidding'. FYI resort charges $25.00 plus tax for parking as they do not have self parking only valet parking, and to be honest that was a pita waiting for them to bring the car.
  9. I booked 2 Rooms for the 15th and started bidding at $60. at $64 I was offered a rebid and didn't take it because I still had free rebid options available. I won the rooms at $67.00 each. I tried to extend the stay another night and it wouldn't let me so I bid again and started at $65 and won it on the first try. FYI the hotel charges a manditory $15.00 + tax fee for 'resort charges' which covers free parking and free internet.
