  1. I used the HOTWIRE link, and it's the Hotel Minneapolis - An Autograph Collection Hotel by Marriott. This will work fine for our trip, although we wanted to try to W Hotel. Thanks for your assistance.

  4. Thanks. I don't want the Millenium, I may try this 4.5 star, and will let you know.

  6. I need assistance to ID Hotel in Downtown Minneapolis. I believe I have it narrowed down to Westin and Hilton. I would prefer the Westin. Is there anything below that would eliminate one or the other? 4* - $74 per night. Travel Dates 3/20-3/22 Amenities Indoor pool(s) Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant (s) Business center Self-service laundry Internet access Assessibility – accessible for the visually impaired Thanks! Andy
  7. Won through PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals Amenities: Pets Allowed Restaurant Fitness Center Free Internet Business Center
  8. Yep, I'm aware I can't bid on, or target, a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, But I'm making an educated assumption based on the Radisson Blu being the only 4* in this zone (based on Expedia and other sites). My stay is 3/21 to 3/23. There isn't a 4* currently available on Hotwire.
  9. I'd like to try to win the Radisson Blu in the MSP (Airport MSP - Mall of America). There is a 4* option when bidding in the zone. There are no reports that anyone has won it via Price.line, but I see people have been successful through Hot.wire. Has anyone tried?
  10. Decided to go the Hotwire route, after I struck out on Priceline bidding up to $52 (Priceline has higher fees, so my total for $52 would have been over $70). Purchased 3.5 star in Bloomington East - Mall of America for $56, one night after fee/taxes $69.75 Amenities: Indoor pool, airport shuttle, smoke free rooms, fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center, high speed internet, accessible for blind, deaf, path of travel, in room accessibility, accessible bathroom, handicapped parking, roll in shower. We have stayed here before, and this hotel will work well for our needs. Used the HOTWIRE link as always.
  11. I was trying for this zone, for either this hotel, or the Holiday Inn Metrodome. This zone is central for our needs on this vacation. I started bidding at $45 for 3 star, and used free rebid zones in $5 increments until I won at $65. Used the PRICELINE link as usual. I am a long time user and contributor to this board to make my vacation plans. Thanks to all that post their information to help others. I will post a review after our stay. Thanks.
  12. Yeah, that's what I was assuming it was as well. I was hoping for the Sleep Inn in Rogers. I don't think I'm going to risk it. Thanks!
  13. I don't see a section for the Elk River/Rogers MN area. 2 1/2 star - Aug 12 for 1 night Indoor pool, pool, business center, laundry, free parking, free breakfast, free internet, wheelchair accessible Any info on this area?
  14. I won this hotel for $50 per night for 2 nights. The location is great for the MOA, or other nearby locations. We drove into downtown St Paul both days from this location. Light rail station is also located across the street for downtown Minne or the MOA if you don
  15. Won 3* Minneapolis/St. Paul (Airport - MOA Area) Crowne Plaza Minneapolis International Airport-Mall Of America for $50 for 2 nights 2/24 -2/26/12. Started at $45, and used free rebid zones until I won at $50. Wasn't sure what hotel I would win in this zone, but this one looks recently renovated and decent. I wanted something in this area close to the mall and other attractions. I will post a review after my trip. As always, used the message board to research, and used the PRICELINE link to purchase.
  16. Yes, sorry, all the correct amenities are Smoke free, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, and High-Speed Internet Access.
  17. I made a mistake on my 1st post. Please remove the pool from the anenities list.
  18. Staying 1 night. I did my homework, thanks to this site, and this is the hotel I was hoping for. Have stayed here many times, great hotel that suits my needs. Used the HOTWIRE link as always. Amenities: Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access.
  19. I just got lucky I guess. Unfortunately, there is no way to choose thru Priceline.
  20. Started bidding Bloomington West-MofA zone for 3.5* at $40, failed, rebid in $3 increments up to $49, all failed. Bid $51 and won the Hilton Bloomington, 3900 American Boulevard West (near France). We haven
  21. Started bidding at $45 3.5 on the Airport MSP-MofA zone. They offered a $55 deal which I declined. Added free rebid zones, increased bidding by $2 increments and won at $49. I used the PRICELINE link, as always.
  22. Hotel address: 12201 Ridgedale Drive, Minnetonka. This hotel is right across the street from the Ridgedale Center mall. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking or easy driving distance. Nearest bus stop right across the street at the mall. We took the express city bus downtown from there, into downtown for the Twins game Sat afternoon, and cabbed it back to avoid the parking, traffic, and to enjoy some of the downtown nightlife Sat night after the game. The hotel itself is very nice, although the layout is a bit odd. Walking into the lobby reminded me a bit of an Embassy Suites, as it was a "courtyard" style, where all the rooms were open to the middle. This hotel had 2 individual courtyards, one with the lobby and restaurant in it, and the other with the pool and hot tub in it. We were on the 1st floor King bed room in between the two courtyards. Overall the stay was pretty quiet while we were in our room (which I have to admit was very little during this Fri and Sat night stay). The only real noise I noticed was someone using the ice machine down the hall every once in awhile. We used the pool/hot tub area the 1st night, and it was very adequate. Overall I would recommend this hotel if it seems to suit your needs.
  23. Started at $40 for 3.5*. Used free rebid zones in $2 increments, until a win at $54. I am a long time reader and contributor to this board, and as always, used the PRICELINE link. Hotel address: 12201 Ridgedale Drive, Minnetonka - across from the Ridgedale Center mall. I wanted to stay downtown Minneapolis, but it was just too expensive for this trip. This location will also work well, especially knowing the $ we saved from the higher hotel costs and parking downtown. There wasn
