  1. Boy, I'm glad to see this hotel is coming back on priceline! Your going to love this hotel... my favorite part about it is the restaurant "The Regatta" as I love the food! If you find someone with an entertainmentbook, Regatta is in it with a B1G1 free. Congrats on your bidding and you might try and get a high floor cause this hotel is right next to interstate 5, the largest freeway in Seattle. While your there, also take a roam through freeway park if you get a chance. It's a nice park in the middle of downtown above interstate 5.
  2. Sorry, the above link is NOT the westin after matching since it's located in the Space Needle territory rather than downtown. Still open for suggestions what I should do.
  3. Are you sure your credit card hasn't been charged? They charge it once you win a bid... You should make sure you didn't win a hotel bid by going to your account area on priceline by clicking "My Trips" and entering your security code. If your trip has a check by it, it means your transaction is complete. $79 for a 4 star hotel is very good... I'm going to guess you probably won or are going to win the edgewater if you chose downtown... just a personal hunch. I think the lowest the accept is between $70-$75.
  4. Holy crow... you got it for $55 too! Well done! That looks like a great hotel to stay at. Let us know how it goes :).
  5. I want to book the Westin on July 4th 2009. Why? Cause it's got a heck of a view and I want to watch the fireworks from a high floor. Anyways, I see they are not full and am curious if they have a listing on HOTWIRE for that night... I don't know the hotels well enough to be able to identify them. Can someone help tell me if the Westin is an option? I'm okay paying up to $155-$160 + room upgrade for that kind of view. Thanks for the help guys! edit: I'll bet this is the Westin?
  6. Very informative, thank you so much for providing the details of your trip. This well help me when I go there on the 27th of this month.
  7. Sorry that you did not get what you were wanting. May I bring a little happiness to you by saying that this is a Category 5 Westin, meaning that this is suppose to be one of the best Westins. For $110, you really did get a good deal. I hope your time in Vegas turns out to be lucky!
  8. My encounters have been that they are very strict with the checkin time. Usually they are ready right at 3 or a little after even. You might want to do something in the area until 3:00, but it's worth a try to check in early I guess. Yes, they will respond to your email. Send them your hotel reservation number and you should be set.
  9. Shoot 'em an email and request a room on a high floor ending in 31-33. For example, 4131-4133 (depends if you need king bed or doubles) and upward. I believe the top floor is 46 in the North tower. The South tower has been remodeled recently, but the views are better in the North tower. The higher the room, the better the view. Just so you know, the Westin is in DOWNTOWN which means that road noise below the 20th floor is really bad. They complimentary upgraded it for me. You'll love the Westin :). Let us know how your trip goes :)
  10. That's an awesome deal. You'll love the westin. You'll get a wonderful view.
  11. I might add that alot of people (including myself) have gotten the Edgewater for $75 downtown, and that's a very nice hotel. You might look into that if you are willing to pay taxi fees!
  12. Well done. I don't know if you are in the Seattle Area, but this is a GREAT hotel, right next to Safeco Field. Hope you have a great trip!
  13. As promised, I used the PRICELINE link... Happy with this one also :).
  14. Thank you :). Does someone have suggestions what to bid for a two star hotel there? The dates would be around March 20-22nd
  15. Thanks, yes the days of the trip changed and the 17th to the 18th is correct :).
  16. I got tired of rebidding for hotels so I took a shot at $85 and got the Westin Bonaventure downtown for August 17th, 2009. Think I could have got it for $75 for future bidders but I'm pumped at this stay for the price! Thank ya!
  17. Does anyone know if I can bid for a hotel at Ocean Shores, WA? I haven't seen anyone post one here on the forum which is why I ask. It's a nice spot for me and my family to have a vacation but I'd like to know if I can bid a hotel before I plan it :).
  18. Got a trip coming up in August to Los Angeles. Better to book now or wait? Love the site! Thanks!
  19. I've stayed at the Westin Seattle and I have nothing but good comments to say about it. Here's a hint... send them an email saying you want a high floor room with the water. Usually they will complimentary upgrade you, which they did for me. Heck, for that matter try and get floor 42 (the highest). Man, I'll have to check and see if I have it but I think it was rooms ending with a 32 in the North tower that have the best view. They are killer! You'll love it and just so you know, I paid $200 for my stay so you did well!
  20. Wow, all I can say is what a resource! This is great! Alright here's the scoop. I want to do a bidding on a hotel for downtown Los Angeles (near the train station would be prefered). The dates will be August 29-30 and thats rough... How much would you imagine I would have to bid to get accepted to a 3 star hotel? How about a 4 star? Is it better to book in advanced or close to the day of?
