Reviews on tripadvisor are mixed but nothing that I cannot live with. Walking 1-15 mins to a metro stop is hardly an inconvenience to someone like me who walks so often and free wifi is always a big plus whenever I travel. Needed a quick one night stay since my return flight to the US leaves from Zurich so I chose an airport hotel. However, it seems that I can hop on the tram and be in the city center in 30 mins so it works out perfectly since I get in at noon and leave the next morning. I've been trying for the last 4 months to find a hotel in Amsterdam in this area or nearby and the rates are so much higher than when I went last year (last year, I bid $60 and it was accepted first try for a 4 star). Last hotel to be booked for my trip to Europe. The hotel rates seem a bit higher than they were last year (got a 4* last year in the same zone for $75) but I am pleased nevertheless because the rack rates are so high. Regular rate is $174 so I am happy with the savings! :lol:
