Saw that $57 had worked in the past so I used it on the first attempt for 3 star hotel in the Benton Harbor area of Michigan. Worked like a charm. Wish the breakfast was free, but oh well. Can't complain too much for a 3* hotel for this cheap. Linked to PRICELINE through this site. Cheers! Welcome to the Courtyard By Marriott Benton Harbor With large rooms, indoor and outdoor pools and an on-site fitness center, the non-smoking Courtyard by Marriott Benton Harbor/St. Joseph is one of the most popular hotels among Priceline guests in the area. Hotel Features This low-rise hotel has 96 rooms, all of which are designated non-smoking. Each room includes a flat-panel TV with premium cable channels, a large work desk and ergonomic chair. Guests can go for a swim year-round in the indoor and outdoor connecting pools and hot tub. There is also a fitness center on-site with cardio equipment. The hotel has an outdoor barbecue/picnic area, a business center and coin-operated laundry facilities for guests' convenience. Parking is free. Hotel Location The Courtyard is five miles from Silver Beach. Berrien Hills Country Club is four miles. Lions Park is five miles. Winery tours are available eight miles away, and there are several wineries and tasting rooms within 15 miles. Chicago is less than a two-hour drive. Southwest Michigan Regional Airport is four miles from the hotel. Guest Favorites Priceline guests rate the Courtyard by Marriott Benton Harbor/St. Joseph highly, saying the hotel is "conveniently located" with "very friendly staff" and "large rooms."

I first tried for this hotel at $60, but it rejected and asked me to increase to $80. The next day I tried at $65 and it again rejected and asked to increase to $80. I knew this was the ExpressDeal for this area at $76 so I tried again at $70 and it was accepted. Used the code SUMMER to get an additional 5% off each night. That coupon expires on 07/31 though, so won't be around much longer. Happy with my results. This is one of the nicest hotels in the area and I was not willing to travel to stay in Indianapolis or other surrounding areas because of the need to be in Cloverdale for a horse show all day and into the night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone...even at this price point. The road noise was severe and really hampered my stay in Austin. I wrote a more detailed review on TripAdvisor if interested. Here is a summary of the problems: 1) Had to switch rooms three times. Should have been more, but I gave up and compromised with the 3rd. 2) Road noise is aweful in the rooms. Police sirens all night. No way to stop the noise because it is usually coming from the cracks and crevices around the horribly installed AC wall unit. 3) AC/ Heat has controls on wall unit and wall thermostat. Neither seem to function without the other, yet work horrible together. Plus the fans inside the unit are usually very dirty. Sweet dreams breathing all of that crap in. 4) Volume of TV's only lowers to a level 10. No possible way to get lower. Good luck watching TV while someone wants to sleep or late at night. Some channels are unbearably loud also. Level 10 is not the same for all channels. Go figure. 5) One bedroom was missing a mini-fridge. Someone had to install one from another room. What about the people that were going to get that room? How is this allowed to happen at a 3 star hotel?

Thought this was going to get me the Courtyard Marriot or Holiday Inn, but to my surprise the Crowne Plaza popped up at just $45 a night. Cheers!
