So many zones in Dallas (28) makes this an easier process for a higher end hotel.
Downtown - 4 1/2 Star
Started with Zone 12 - $80 - rejected
Added zone 5 - $82 - rejected
Added zone 6 - $85 - rejected
Added zone 4 - $88 - rejected
Added zone 11 - $90 - rejected
Added zone 17 - $93 - rejected
Added zone 19 - $96 - rejected
Added zone 22 - $100 - rejected
Added zone 20 - $106 - ACCEPTED
$106 total = $129.19 all in.
I might have left a few $'s on the table but a decent win in my opinion for a 4-1/2 star property in expensive Dallas

Hilton Tampa Downtown
$100
Using the PRICELINE link I starting bidding on a Downtown Ottawa 4* hotel at $75 for Jan. 21 occupancy. My initial bid was rejected and I was given the add $20 to m bid option which I rejected. Went back to my criteria page and added Ottawa West region at $81 knowing there are no 4*'s in the west, hence a free bid again downtown. Rejected. Added Hull region still with 4* so another free bid at $83. Rejected. Added Gloucester region still with only 4* criteria and won the Marriot Ottawa for $86 = $105 US with taxes/ fees. Same location/ hotel on Hotwire based on the board descriptions was $106 + fess = $126.60 USD. Hotel direct best rate was $149 CAD + taxes... so not bad...
Using the PRICELINE link I started bidding on 4* downtown Montreal hotels at $81 for Jan. 22 occupancy. My first bid was rejected and I was given the add $20 to my bid option which I rejected. I went back and added the Pointe Claire region knowing there was no 4* in that region, hence a second free bid in City Centre. I increased my bid to $86 and won the Hotel Omni Mont Royal. $109.15 USD all in with fees/ taxes. Not bad... online hotel rate, cheapest rate was $149 CAD + taxes.

The descriptions in Downtown Cleveland seemed to have changed from what is listed in the forum.
Booked this morning for $49 - 3.5 Star Downtown with Fitness, Restaurant, Business & High Speed
The hotel is the Doubletree.
By forum list should have been the Crowne.
Either was fine... just some help for others.
Does anyone know how or attempted to book more than 6 rooms on HOTWIRE?
Please advise.
Maybe you can call the hotwire customer support?
Thanks,
SSPS

Always appreciate the help that Better Bidding has to offer when booking a hotel deal. Nashville is great because if you want to stay downtown in a decent hotel (3-1/2 to 4 stars), you have lots of zones and rebids to play with in the 29 different zones that are in play (26 active at the moment). Played the bid/ rebid game for 4-days and ended up with the 3-1/2 star Doubletree Hotel Downtown Nashville for $185 per night, $453.40 USD all-in for two nights. The sweet spot was either $184 or $185 USD as I was bidding in $2 increments... so try $184 if you want (lol). Thanks for your help BB. Site admin note: In your hotel list you have this hotel under 3 stars... I was bidding and got it at 3-1/2... perhaps a recent change? Good luck people... Thanks again BB!!!
